Dear Men With Eating Disorders,

This just goes to show that men are not exempt from being made fun of if
they have are struggling with an eating disorder or weight problem. Even
though, this man is considered in the guitar world, to be "The World's Fastest
Rock
Guitarist", people are still making fun of him and make jokes like this one
and others. What do you think about this video? What are your thoughts
about what should be done? If you would like to post any comments or responses
perhaps that might help some people understand the seriousness of what jokes
like this does to a person's self esteem and can contribute to eating
disorders.

Yngwie Malmsteen has lost the weight they he had gained, no longer smokes or
drinks. As you can see in this video his is not by any means overweight.
In fact, I believe he is about 19-20 years old when this video was originally
made. Just think about his 8 year old son who you know probably has either
heard about this awful video from his peers and/or seen it himself. That is
enough to drive that child to be very angry, depressed, and possibly of
developing an eating disorder himself.

If you have a son or husband or know someone who has a son or husband who is
struggling with either a weight problem and/or an eating disorder perhaps you
would like to post a comments or responses about this fake video (someone
took the original version and changed it to this version). Of course, females
can become famous guitarists too, i.e., Lita Ford, Jennifer Batten. Joan Jet,
etc.

Even if you yourself are struggling with a weight problem (females or male)
I encourage you to post comments and responses about this video.
You may use EDSA or refer people to EDSA because this is your group. Yes, I
am the Founder, but this is for all of us.

All we expect at EDSA Groups at AOL and at Yahoo, and SATY & EDSA web site
is honesty, to be respectiful of others, and to take these Groups and web site
with to up most respect.

We would really like to see our members grow with the 2 ED's Groups and web
site.

I am sure that there are guitarists who are having a body image issues,
weight problems, and/or eating disorders and they have seen this video and feel
awful and disgusting.
This kind of crap doesn't help to promote the seriousness of eating
disorders nor does it help to eradicate eating disorders

Anyway, I just wanted to share this with you and I hope that you will post
comments and/or responses to this message board at YouTube after you have
watched this video titled, YouTube - Yngwie Malmsteen's Recipe Book Promo.
