Hi everyone!

I ask that you do not watch the new TV show that is
called, "STARVED: No Laughing Matter" on FX. It debuts tonight,
Thursday, August 4, 2005, and it makes fun of people with eating
disorders. NEDA has aleady seen the pilot episode and has done
nothing to make sure that it did not air, but this seems to be
typical when it comes to NEDA. Thankfully, I have been a member of
ANAD since age 18 years and I know that they are working as hard and
as fast as they can to get this trash off the air.I know all too well
what it is like to suffer from an eating disorder because I suffer
with anorexia. I started at age 10 and now I am 30 it the root cause
is because I was abused...sexually by my adoptive father.

Please if you have children who have eating disorders make sure that
they do not watch this program or better yet sit down with them and
discuss this show with them. The reason why I am saying this is that
9x out of 10 your children know that you know that watching this show
is forbidden at their home so they will go over to a friend's home
and watch it there.
I am in the process of getting a petition going for those who have
eating disorders and or know of someone who does, and/or if you are
just disgusted at this new TV show on FX and all you have to do is
let me know your e-mail address and you can add your name to it and
it will be mailed off to FX Networks and ANAD, and anyone else I can
find who is interested.
I am here if you, your child (minor or adult), and/or a friend is
suffering with an eating disorder(s) and would like to chat. I am
going for my CEDS (Certification in Eating Disorders Specialist
Degree). I can tell you that if you have an eating disorder and
suffering with chronic pain you are going to find one hell of a time
seeking inapt. treatment because these treatment centers are stupid
about chronic pain, narcotic pain medication(s), addiction,
habituation, tolerance, and dependence. However, I do know of only 3
treatment centers that do not have any problems when it comes to
chronic pain and/or narcotic pain medication(s) for pain management.
If anyone is interested in these 3 treatment centers please contact
me via PM and/or e-mail.
Also, remember that males also suffer from eating disorder too.
