Still quiet...need some ideas...   Message List

Hi Everyone -

I see that it is still quiet here. I'm sad in a way, because I
could really use a chance to chat with someone today.

I am sitting at work right now, and I am having a very tough time
right now. I am stressing beyond belief, and I feel like crap.

I don't know about many of you, but I wonder if this ever happens to
anyone else? Every once in a while, it seems like I start peeing
very little. Even though I am drinking lots of water and flavored
water beverages (zero calories), I simply don't urinate very much
(this happens every so often for a few days at a time). During this
time, I see the scale creeping up and it really makes me crazy.
Then, all on it's own, out of nowhere, one day I will start going
like a racehorse, and then the scale drops again.

I know this is just water weight, but it is driving me absolutely
mad. How do you handle this?

I have increased calories slightly today in a very healthy way in
the hopes of breaking this fluid cycle. Here is my eating schedule
today:

Breakfast: AchievOne Protein Latte, 120 cals, 0 fat, 0 sugar
Snacks: AquaFina FlavorSplash Flavored Water, 0 cals
Lunch: Profect Protein Liquid, 100 cals, 0 fat, 0 sugar
Snacks: Crystal Light Raspberry Ice Beverage, 5 cals
Dinner: Profect Protein Liquid, 100 cals, 0 fat, 0 sugar

Of course, I am drinking plenty of water in between and all during
the day. I hope that this will help break the "fluid retention" and
get me back on track. Any other ideas would be helpful - thanks!

I hope you all have a great day, and I'll hopefully "talk" to some
of you soon,

Mike
