Thankyou for taking an interest in talking to me about yourself and your ED. I
just found this group. Its so great to finnally be able to talk to other guys
about my problem and share stories. Right now im 16 (going into grade 11) I
weigh 120 lbs. and feel awful. Im so desperate to loose weight ive thought about
purging after i eat.im scared though because i think once i start i wont be able
to stop. all my life people told me how skinny i was. in grade 9 i stepped on
the scale during gym and saw that it said 120. Thats when it all started. I can
go hours without eating and then something will happen and ill run to a bag of
chips and binge. I feel awful after and promise myself i wont eat. whenever i do
eat. i feel like im failing myself. my friends and family tell me all the time
im a twig but i just dont see it that way. All i want is to loose. my goal
weight would be between 70 and 90 lbs. I just dont see it happening unless i
purge. Ive thought about getting into heavierr drugs
like extacy to loose and am considering getting diet pills or food supplemetns
from the pharmacy. Tell me more about your ED and how it started. Id love to
read about it. How is treatment? there needs to be more attention paid to men in
these faciliets.
Take Care.
Dane.

with anorexia and
bulimia for 3 years. I'm currently at a residential facility in Iowa. I was
sent
there after I completed the edo program at the University Hospital. I'm so
miserable here! I'm the youngest one and no one else here has or has had an
eating disorder. Most of these people are elders who are mentally retarded.
Since I'm committed here, there's nothing I can do about it. At least I can
talk to other males that have or have had eating disorders at this group. I
just
wish there were more messages. Let's do something about that! Bye for now~
