this is what redbus booking finally is i asked them about this failure they say they are not resposible i have to contact travel operator,travel operator says that as i booked through redbus they are not resposible ????????

Dear Mr. Gandhi,

 

We are sorry to hear about the inconvenience caused to you. The higher price charged for this bus was from Omer Travels itself and not from redBus. redBus as an agent just displays the price of the ticket as given by the bus operator (in this case, Omer Travels). The fare could have been higher because 28th Dec was a demand day. As you would know and understand, we can only help customers with the booking process and the actual travel is not in our control since we don’t operate the buses.

 

I think it would be best for you to take this up with Omer Travels. I am sure they will be in a position to help you.

 

I have below the section of our terms and conditions that deals with our responsibilities. We have clearly mentioned that we are not responsible for the delay in arrival or departure since we don’t have control on it. I hope you understand. Please feel free to call me in case of any queries. I’ll be glad to help.

 

1. redBus* is ONLY a bus ticket agent. It does not operate bus services of its own. In order to provide a comprehensive choice of bus operators, departure times and prices to customers, it has tied up with many bus operators. redBus’ advice to customers is to choose bus operators they are aware of and whose service they are comfortable with.

redBus’ responsibilities include:
    -     Issuing a valid ticket (a ticket that will be accepted by the bus operator) for its’ network of bus operators
    -     Providing refund and support in the event of cancellation
    -     Providing customer support and information in case of any delays / inconvenience

redBus’ responsibilities do NOT include:
    -    The bus operator’s bus not departing / reaching on time
    -    The bus operator’s employees being rude
    -    The bus operator’s bus seats etc not being up to the customer’s expectation
    -    The bus operator canceling the trip due to unavoidable reasons 
    -    The baggage of the customer getting lost / stolen / damaged
    -    The bus operator changing a customer’s seat at the last minute to accommodate a lady / child
    -    The customer waiting at the wrong boarding point (please call the bus operator to find out the exact
          boarding point if you are not a regular traveler on that particular bus)
    -    The bus operator changing the boarding point and/or using a pick-up vehicle at the boarding point to take
          customers to the bus departure point

with reference to my travel by omer travels by booking with red bus with a abnormal price of 1700/- in place of normal 600+ I regret to bring to your notice bus has breakdown several times and I have to call for a cab from  pune at around 3 pm in the afternoon to kurkum about 70 km  from pune by paying additional charges of 2000/- and reached pune around 4.30pm. 2. The arrival and departure times mentioned on the ticket are only tentative timings . However the bus will not leave the source before the time that is mentioned on the ticket.
3. Passengers are required to furnish the following at the time of boarding the bus:
    -   A copy of the ticket (A print out of the ticket or the print out of the ticket e-mail). 
    -   Identity proof (Driving license, Student ID card, Company ID card, Passport, PAN card or Voter ID card).
Failing to do so, they may not be allowed to board the bus.
4. Change of bus: In case the bus operator changes the type of bus due to some reason, redBus will refund the differential amount to the customer upon being intimated by the customers in 24 hours of the journey.

5.Cancellation Policy: For :Cancellation Policy: Between 1 to 24 hours before journey the cancellation charge is 50%. Between 24 hours to 3 days before journey the cancellation charge is 10%. Between 3 days to 1 week before journey the cancellation charge is 5%.

Alok's Jihad against Judicial system of India: There are coaching for all but not for new litigants, there are forums for all sufferers but for litigants , no counseling, no one to advise on court procedures, no reception/conference/ waiting room at courts for them ( litigants have keep standing in lobby n passages where even chairs are not available, they have to run for buying court fee stamp, Xeroxing , gum stick ( no single window stall to provide all this ,they have to keep searching for advocates attending different court rooms, no reservation in court canteen ( I was once asked to vacate chair in canteen as during lunch break canteen is reserved for Advocates) , no car park for litigants,no library for litigants, no system to get advance intimation that court will not sit today so you reach court and return as court is not sitting ( even clerk of ur adv. will not send u SMS and help save ur time and travel), every small paper/ application to be filed before Hon. Judge wasting his precious time,(filing/ adjournments can be done before asst. registrars), most Advocates yet don’t use PC’s , courier services and emails ( are we in 2008 or 1908??) and many more issues,
