sorry to hear you are having such a hard time. Myself  I am 36 and I have been dignosed with premature menopause. it is diffcult, as my husband and I have only been married for year and half so we have no children. now i can not have any. so count your blessings for your daughter and grandchildren. for your mood swings have your doctor give you somthing. my docotor put me on Lexapro and it has done wonders for my mood swings. hope things get better for you.

Hi Kathleen,
My name is Trish. I started this group years ago.
Welcome!
That is to bad that you are dealing with your menopause alone.
But we are here. Your welcome to vent here.
Thats great that the prescription cream regulated your periods.
That should help alot! Now that you have your periods back to a regular
schedule didn't your menopause symptoms dissappear?
Oh wow! you have 2 grand children........thats wonderful........my daughter
says she will not have any children :( but i have to live with her decision.

My personal story is that at age 30 something i had a partial hysterectomy
and then at 40 my ovaries quit and I went into full blown menopause. For two
years I tried every prescription hormone replacement my doctor would
prescribe. All they did was make my bones/joints hurt and caused me to gain
weight and retain water.........It was horrible! So I stopped everything and
after 3 months my husband was begging me to find something to make me more
easier to live with.

So I then started trying all the over the counter remedies for
menopause.......that was a joke! They worked for maybe 2 weeks then
.....nothing! I had all my symptoms back.
Then - 10 years ago - my how time flys! I found a company that offered some
all natural menopause products.........I tried them.....they worked and I
have been on them now for 10 years.......no doctor prescriptions
needed.....no side effects either!

10 years ago I became a Rep. for the company so I could get my products
cheaper......since then I have made it my full time business.........and I
love it........and I have no menopause symptoms.

Here is what i take
Rejuvenate For Women Caplets...........2 per day
http://www.herbals-unlimited.com/rejuvenate_for_women.htm
AND
Rejuvenate Natural Balancing Progesterone Cream.........1/4 tsp - twice a
day........21 days on and 7 days off.
http://www.herbals-unlimited.com/rejuvenate-progesterone-cream.htm

I am really into nutrition.

So that's my story :)

Glad you joined our group.

Have a Blessed Day!!
Trish

Hello,
I can sympathise with you. I have a partial hysterectomy in my early
thirtys. I am now 51.
I have one beautiful daughter age 31. She was young when I had my surgery. I
was unable
to have any more children. It took YEARS to get emotionally stable. I used
to cry at the drop of a hat just thinking about not being able to have any
more children. But the Lord helped me thru it. I got saved and the Lord
showed me that I needed to be thankful for my daughter and put my ALL into
raising her. It took 3 years to get to that point in my life. I am so proud
of my daughter :>)
I am so happy that you have a wonder son. You will find your way to get thru
this.......we are here for you.

your kinda young to be going thru perimenopause but it is possible that you could be starting to go into perimenopause.

i have a suggestion.

you could take phytoestrogens (natural estrogen from plants) which may regulate your periods and get rid of your symptoms.

there are several I can suggest.

Hi Carolyn,
I do know some women who are just doing the Rejuvenate Natural Balancing Progesterone Cream and it is getting rid of their symptoms. So you can just use the cream. You use it 21 days on and 7 days off. I mark it on my calendar.
Click on the link above.

I use both the  caplets and cream but like I said I do know some women who just use the cream by itself and that is sufficent for them.

Then I found a product called BioEssense For Women and I took that for years untill the company stopped making it (and it worked great) Then the same company came out with Rejuvenate For Women and that is what I have been on for about 3 years now..............its all natural and not synthetic. Pat,
No don't go on HRT. There are to many side effects.....bad side effects. My mom is 70 and they took her OFF of HRT. She is taking Rejuvenate For Women as I am. I tried the Estroven and it worked for a couple of weeks.....then all my symptoms came back. I have been on Rejuvenate For Women Caplets AND cream and after being on it for just a month - most of  my symptoms dissappeared. I have been on Rejuvenate For Women Caplets and Cream for a couple of years now and I have NO menopause symptoms now.
Sounds like the Estroven is not working for you. Maybe you should give Rejuvenate For Women a try too.

Hi there tabby,

sounds like perimenopause. that is where you have the menopause symptoms and
irregular periods.

I suggest you try Hot Mommies Essential 3 or Rejuvenate for Women both can
be found by clicking on the link below
  http://www.herbals-unlimited.com/women_products.htm

Also drink lots of ice water and get some excercise......that will also
help.

Trish.......mother of one daughter who is 31 and I am 51 post menopausal
taking Rejuvenate For Women Progesterone Cream

Hi Pat:

Happy holidays to you.  I know you must be going through it with your symptoms!  HRT has been getting some very bad press lately (in the last week or so) of increasing the risk of breast cancer and many doctors are weaning their patients off of them.  I have received a lot of relief from Estroven, I am 48 and have been bothered with symptoms for about 3 years.  You might want to start adding soy to your diet which has natural hormones which help.  I take vitamin E if I wake up with hot flashes and drink a glass of soy, too.  I am fortunate to have a woman doctor who told me about Estroven, and says exercise helps a lot for many of the symptoms, I am going to start yoga, as I heard this is a good program for menopausal women. My doctor is against HRT.  I hope some of this helps.

Best wishes,
Barbara

whatever, the energy is about gone (lol) and comes over me like a
bomb. Have sleep troubles a lot as well. I ache and sometimes bad at
that, indigestion and gass a lot too. Have what I call feelings on
my skin and things that feel like electrical shocks that come and go
just as fast. I have not had a period in 14 years. My GYN has always
been after me to take HRT and I refused it as I did not want to gain
weight. Currently I am taking the Estroven and have been on it for
about three weeks now. But I had to laugh when I read someone wrote
that they can not even stand themselves as I am that way too. LOL I
had no trouble going through it and just some clotting and missed
months is all and then bang it was gone. BUT now I am wondering if
it would hurt me at my age to go on them? Has anyone started then at
this late stage? Any thoughts are appreciated.

Pat

Hi and seasons greetings to all. I am writing to ask and get some
feedback if I can on my situation. I am a 64 year old women and went
through the change when I was 50. I have not been on hormones. Here
of late I have been having trouble with thyroid and was tested for
all my hormones including the females. My endro tells me that I am
almost depleted of them. When I went to see him I gave him a list
of my symtpoms and he said that many of them were female related. I
have so many symptoms and want to know if you all relate to any of
these? I do not sweat but do get spells of feeling like I am on fire
from head to toe. They pass fairly quick and are not all the time. I
also have moodiness and feeling down and wanting to cry for
whatever, the energy is about gone (lol) and comes over me like a
bomb. Have sleep troubles a lot as well. I ache and sometimes bad at
that, indigestion and gass a lot too. Have what I call feelings on
my skin and things that feel like electrical shocks that come and go
just as fast. I have not had a period in 14 years. My GYN has always

No you are not the only one. All of us on this list are having menopausal
symptoms. Each of us deal with it in our own ways and this list is to share
the ways we cope with the symptoms. Everyones body is different and yes some
women are blessed not to have the horrible symptoms.
Who knows how much longer it will last? Everyones different , for some women
it can be as long as 10 years.

Are you still having eratic periods or have they stopped all together?
