Hi Lynn,
Nice to have you with the group. Yes we do have others here that speak up when they have the time.
We are all in menopause and all are dealing with it in different ways.
You poor thing you sound like you are running on overload with your PPD, anxiety, depression, moods, hot flashes, menopause.
Wow! Have you ever thought of taking plant estrogens? They are called phytoestrogens from plants. That will help to bring the estrogen levels up with out synthetic drugs (HRT)
I have many suggestions that I can give you on supplements that you could take to help you. Let me know if you are interested in hearing them.
God Bless
Trish

My gyno says my estrogen levels are low, but they have been low before especially when I do heavy wieght training. My mom started early menopause at 39 so he may be right. No I dont want to take any estrogen for it. My mother in law thinks it contributed to her ovarian cancer and who knows now adays. Everything contributes to cancer. I take psychiatric drugs for anxiety, depression and sever PPD, premenstrual dysphoria disorder. My moods are terrible around my periods and I feel really out of it. so during those times I take my prozac and that helps me to get through., I have a 5 year old and a 7 year old and I watch a 3 year old and a 1 year old 50hours a weeek so the stress and not having time for myself does not help. I suffered sever post pardum depression after my first baby and severe panic after my second so my hormones play havic with my chemicals in my brain. I know going through menopause will not be easy but thank god that i am in the care of a doctor who will give me the chemical drugs I need to function. I will be happy when it is over for alot of my symptoms will end. I hope it doesnt take too long.Anyone in the group that suffers from sever pms or depression I am here for you. I also a christian with strong faith in god which helps. I excercise alot and I take my calcium with vitamin D and my folic acid on top of all the other mood alternating drugs.Lynn,
