Hi:
Just a response, sorry if I am late in getting back to you, been on vaca.
Our bodies are all different.
My periods for instance were :
no period for 8 months
Then I got one
no period for 4 months
then I got one
no period for 3 months then I got one
now for the past 3 months I have had regular periods.
Other women have it differently.
We should go with out natural bodies rhythm of its own winding down of not needing periods anymore.
My advise would also be to read " Women's bodies Womens Wisdom" by Christianne Northrup she also has a new book out called " The Wisdom of Mothers and daughters"
If your physician is a man, well, he does not get a period. Maybe talking with a woman professional whom is more in tune with natural practices.
Peace,
April

Hi all, I have a question from my girlfriend which concerns menopause
and would like your thoughts on this. She is 49 years old,has hot
flashes occasionally, not to often. Periods have skipped 2or3 months
then come back, and then ok... then skip 2 months ...Ok the question
is.....The doctor wanted her to take progesterone pills for 10 days to
see if it would bring on a period. He said that it was not healthy for
her to have an egg waiting. Is that a good idea? What are your thoughts
on this? Thanks Karen
