Re: [menopausal] Hello, so nice to know I am not alone

Hello and Welcome!

I did the HRT for 2 years way back when but i have been on natural herbs for my menopause symptoms for years now ..and they seem to be working fine.
I ha a hysterectomy in my 30s and now i am 48.

The only problem i seem to have is sleep thru the night......i wake up about every 2 and half hours and find it hard to go back to sleep...I take melatonin..it relaxes me but doesnot keep me asleep all night.

Subject: [menopausal] Hello, so nice to know I am not alone

Hello everyone.............
I had a full hysterectomy at 42. Used HRT patches for 8 years.  now
trying to do without them after all the recent publicity.  I am
having horrendous menopausal symptoms after 4 months off of HRT.  You
name it, I've got it.  I am taking Menopace and herbs to combat the
awful mood swings and flushes.  Well I say flushes, I am hot and
perspiring most of the time, does anyone else suffer like this??
Very hot feet too, so bad I don't sleep very well at night but since
taking the homopathic remedy coffea I am getting some hours of rest,
with my feet sticking out of the end of the bed!!!.  Is there anyone
out there in the same boat post HRT or if you have had terrible
symptoms how long before they subsided?  Although I worry about the
effects of long term usage of HRT I am getting desperate for some
relief from how I feel. Any comments or further advice or remedies
that have worked would be welcome.  Thank you.
