I have the same problems--thyroid meds, HRT and lack of libido. I
tried etstratest on the lowest dose, and id didn't do mcuh for the
sex issue AND I gaiend 25 pounds and got acne. Went off it,a m lsoign
the weight and used the Wal-Mart version of ProActiv for the acne
(1/3 the cost,a nd it works).
I'm considering dropping the oral HRT I'm on and sticking to just
Vagifem isnerts (it's estradiol, not ethyl estradiol like PRemarin
and it is plant-based). I DO lubricate, but it's a lack of desire
for sex AND orgams whciha ren'tworht the trouble--tiny little ones
that leave me very unsatified. Oral sex and a vibrator don't help.
Hope I'm not being too graphic, but you can't make suggestions f you
don'tknow what hasn't worked.
BTW, I'm Gil, 54 years old, wife of retired Naval man (7 years
younger than me), living in GA, though I'm a New Englander at ehart
and we plan to return once Ben gets his nursing degree. I have
degrees in Commucnaitions, ENglish Lit and Library Science. I was a
pbulsiehd fantasy writer inthe 80s. Lost my first hsband when I was
34, and went into a funk that lasted for over a decade. Now I'm
writing erotica--and it's a MAJOR incomvenince being short of desire,
because if the scenedoesn't turn me on, how can I tell if it will
work for others?
