Hi again Pat,
I like the statement of you and a friend being the menopause queens. Thaws
cute.
I had all the symptoms you mention and I would yell at the hubby for no
reason.
I would turn to look at the hubby and he would say. WHY ARE YOU SWEATING SO
MUCH and I would bite his head off.
Now I am doing really well.
I take a very small dose of estrogen and I take Bio Essence for Women which
is the other estrogen i need......all is well here.
I hope you find relief.

The night sweats are extremely rare, but lately the cheeks on my face turn
bright red and the sweat starts running down my back for no apparent reason.

Yeah, isn't that just the most fun thing? I often have hot flashes/flushes
in the morning shortly after I get up. So there I sit across the breakfast
table from my husband, red-faced, dripping sweat, fanning away with the
newspaper
I also tend to experience it when I first arrive somewhere. For instance, I
work a lot of SPCA information booths at local malls. It always seems that
for the first 20 minutes or so I do the same thing -- bright red face, sweat
pouring. One day I was working with another volunteer and she was fanning
away. She commented to me that she must be going through menopause.
I looked at her, said, "Thank God" and now we both laugh and fan and sweat
our way through the first little while at the booths! At least I don't feel
self-
conscious knowing we're both going through it. Just call us the menopausal
mall queens.....
