Hello My Dears;
You have my prayers and sympathy in your loss and trials. Ask God to be
with you and to give you strength and wisdom to do what's for the highest
good of all concerned and He will.
My Mom had heart failure, high bld pressure and diabetes also and had to
have her leg removed from gangrene.
We had to put her in a nursing home. Fortunately there
was 3 of us children living locally and one of us would go every day and
make sure she had eaten, was clean and put her to bed if she needed to
because of pain in her back. She suffered a lot and the best we could do
was to be there for her, hold her hand and keep talking to her even after
she went into coma. She was in for 3 years.
My dad died young, in fifties, but I can understand how you feel caring
for him alone. There must be some local resources that will help. The
social worker at the hosp
can advise you and put you in touch. Take care of yourself dear. You have
four people depending on you.
If you be sure to get some time to yourself, rest and go to friends ,
family or support group, or minister and talk, it will help you
tremendously. The feedback will help you
to keep a more sane view.
And for heaven sake find things to laugh at. Rent cartoon videos or old
comedies or whatever makes you happy,
its a brief respite from the heavy burden you have now.
God bless you both and know you are in my prayers.
Shirley
