Since I saw the ENT almost 2 weeks ago (referred to by my FP), who gave me
Diazide and SCOP Transderm patches, I've remained sane because I was certain
that tomorrow's testing would place me one step closer to finding out what is
going on with me.
Well....
turns out tomorrow is not about testing.? It's a follow-up visit.? The nurse
called asking me if I was feeling better.
'Well if by better you mean the room no longer spins, I'd say yes.'
'So - do you want to come in for the follow up since you're actually getting
better or do you want to keep the appointment and talk with the doc about more
tests to determine what caused this event.? True vestibular disorders don't
really get better.'
First: My heart is in my toes right now.? I wanted tomorrow to bring me that
much closer to a solution.
Second: Walking on the slant and dealing with vertigo up until now has been
remitting and not a surprise when it attacks
Third: Isn't it important to determine the cause, not only for the dizziness,
but also for the now persisting slant, disconnectedness, nausea, tinnitus,
floating lights at night, wincing at certain noises, etc.?
