Kat, get some earplugs at a drug store and wear them when the cabin is being
pressurized and on takeoff and also when landing. This will help stabilize the
ears when the pressure is being altered. Also, you can get Bonine over the
counter -- seasickness medicine. This has helped a lot of people with flying and
other types of traveling. Good luck with it. So sorry to hear about your father.
Where in California are you going?

Hello everyone. I haven't posted a message in a long time. But, I need
some help. As much as I don't want to I must take a plane trip from FL
to CA for an emergancy. I was wondering if anyone has any tips that
would make my flight go easier. Even though I was Dx a few years ago I
have never been able to take a flight without the lovely embarrassment
of vomiting during the flight. I have not been back in a plane for
about 15 years and I am very nervous about it. On top of the reason I
must do it is very stressfull alone. My father is dying and I must go
see him. Needless to say, I'm sure the attacks will be in full swing.
Thank you. Kat
