Ok, so for the first time in my entire life, I have to report for
jury duty tomorrow. I am soooo not a happy camper, I have a ton of
stuff I was supposed to do and several appointments, including
getting my car fixed from an accident 2 weeks ago.
So here's my question: can I get excused from jury duty if its too
hard for me to travel to the courthouse? I live in a rural area and
the courthouse is about 50 miles from my home. I'm not traveling too
well any more and have to be very careful. Plus, I have no way of
knowing what kind of trial or the length of it and I have my ENG
test on Tuesday. I really don't want to put off the test - I want to
know for sure, per medical testing, what is going on with me. It's
all fine and dandy to say that I might have Meniere's but I really
want to know for a fact.
Any one have experience with this? I mean, I'm at a point where just
watching a tv show yesterday, a show host moved the camera up and
down then side to side and I got sicker than a dog. I did have a
good day on Tuesday with no symptoms. Wednesday wasn't that good
though. I'm just thankful I had a good day Tuesday. LOL....
Thanks!
