write and tell you all, never give up.
I developed menieres at the age of 18. My life was really horrible at
some times. I was constantly taking antiverts, closing myself away
from noise and movement just to make the room stop spinning. I had 2
small children , couldn't go anywhere alone and couldn't drive
because I never knew when I would have an attack of vertigo.I can
understand all of what you go through. This was my life for 20 years.

Then out of the blue it just all stopped. Occassionally I get dizzy,
but it's not a continual thing like when I was younger. I don't know
what happened but I improved. I still avoid large crowds and lots of
noise, because that's the easiest way to start a vertigo attack with
me. I have lost 70 % hearing in one ear and have tinnitus. With any
luck I will never develope it in the other ear.

I truly believe my Menieres is allergy related. I know doctors will
not agree with that, but thats my opinion on my illness. I am
allergic to almost everything, all the trees, grasses, weeds,
animals, some foods and cock roaches.<laughing>I also have problems
with smoke and perfumes. So maybe some of you may also have allergy
problems that are contributing to your menieres. Maybe it's up to us
all to check out the less apparent causes of our illnesses?

Never ever give up, write everything down, the smallest thing may
show you a pattern to the cause of your illness. Keep your hope
alive, life is wonderful !
