Yes! I have been on the low sodium diet for almost 3 years and it has solved
my problem almost entirely! That is, low sodium AND lots of water per day.
When I have an attack, (about twice a year) I can always trace it back to a
recent party, or several meals at "The Golden Arches Supper Club" because I
am too busy at work to eat sensibly and drink my water. When you feel good
for a long while, you tend to forget that you have a problem, primarily with
salt. As I said, about twice a year I get a reminder. I am one of the lucky
ones with Meniere's, in that I definitely know my trigger and can control it.
