Re: [medicinalqigong] Re:Qigong animal healing

Actually, there are vets who are trained to do acupuncture on animals, but I guess it just depends on what kind of vet you're dealing with.

I have some indirect experiences with my cats, one didn't even get a formal treatment though he got one or two needles (I go to a vet that does alternative stuff) to calm him down before an ultrasound. My vet had thought he felt a mass in his belly, and after being checked by one of the more experiences guys in the field there was nothing - it was the only time he's been wrong with his palpation. The other one is a cat that has had an episode of renal failure where she stopped eating and stuff, (though later her kidney values continued to improve several times after that) and she later had a feline herpes infection that affected one eye. This was another modality of energy work that I actually had someone do distance work on, and it just do happens that she's the most active cat in the house now. The kidney lab work was before she had the energy session and of course it's hard to attribute causation - but as long as the end result is health that's what counts!

Ron,

Thanks for sharing your story. Most interesting.
And I'm surprised to hear you can only needle
humans! How weird -- but then there are guild
issues and territoriality, it's just unavoidable, I guess.

Best wishes,

Rene
