However, you should either be working in the field as a medical writer or editor, looking for work as a medical writer or editor, or pursuing a certificate program at a university or through the American Medical Writers Association.

Topics can include any aspect of medical writing and editing, including certification issues, technologies used in medical writing, style issues, and specific industries. Posts about job openings are allowed; posts promoting members' goods or services for sale are not.

Although the discussion is not usually moderated (i.e., messages do not have to be approved before they are posted to the list), it is expected to stay on topic. Personal attacks are to be avoided. Those who engage in personal attacks or perpetuate discussion of closed topics will first be placed on moderated status. If this does not resolve the situation, they will be banned from the list.
