RE: Slashing Your Grocery Bills!

After having read so many posts from different people who are sharing their
praise and stories about the program being offered at http://spendlessclub.com I
decided to share my very own experience with this program. Back in 1999 I was
bringing my oldest son Andy to Gymboree. One day when we arrived there was a
large group of moms gathered around a shoebox on top of a table. I still
remember hearing the moms shout WOW. I went right over to see what was going on.
One of the moms had a shoebox full of grocery store and department store
receipts. The receipts were all showing huge savings. Kristen, the mom with the
shoebox told us she gets these savings using the sampler program from the site
above. I went home that afternoon and signed up too. Ever since that day the
savings have been nothing short of spectacular!

I wish all of you a happy and safe holiday!

Mary

I know those Kidsongs videos well indeed! We;ve found them in DVD format at the library, and while I do not endorse it, I know that they can be copied fairly easily.
If you need to have the VHS format, I'd be willing to wager that your library might be willing to sell you their copy, or you can probably still order them through a larger bookstore like Borders or Barnes & Nobles.....
Good Luck!

There maybe a copy at the library or one that they can order. You should be able to get a copy off of E-Bay.

Autism rates are huge and they are growing, unfortunately, research is not
keeping up and now many families close to Autism are calling it an epidemic.
Why? Because 1:150 children in the US now have Autism and you can see why
families of Autistic children are so concerned, they often ask such things as;
"Autism is a Big Issue - Why Don't People Care?"
You see, it's not that people do not care, they really do, in fact once you have
a talk with them you can see the concern on their face, many will say;

"I never knew that,"
"I didn't know," or
"I had no idea."

So, it's up to us, you the reader, me the writer and those in the Autistic
Community to make personal contacts, to get the dialogue going and increase
awareness. It is time that America had a national discussion on this very
serious and growing problem. Of course, it's not easy competing for the
attention of such a society, which is bombarded constantly with all sorts of
other messages. Sometimes it takes something drastic to raise awareness, and
well, that's exactly what one man decided to do, something drastic, something so
over the top, that he made national news.
One man out of frustration set out to walk across the United States for Autism
and to raise awareness to the fact that 93% of the Health Insurance Companies DO
NOT cover Autism. Did you know that if your child is born with Autism, you might
just be totally on your own and the cost per year to support an Autistic Child
is about $85,000 per year, for most middle class families that is simply not an
option; it's simply not economically feasible.

Hi everyone,

The Chicago Tribune is planning on running a story on biomedical treatments for
autism this Sunday and Monday. The pieces will not be favorable on chelation and
other treatments we do with our kids.

Please start preparing your letters to the editor. Let them know that these
treatments can work, and our kids can get better.

Please also consider canceling your subscription to the Tribune right after the
story runs.

Let's send a strong message.

Thanks,
Linda

It kills me to think of newly diagnosed families who will read this story and
decide to not try biomedical treatment. God help us.

About the ion bath, and the child who had been doing that for over a year....

He was rather verbal (a bit of obsessive language, but rather functional), and the parents said he was abolutely non-verbal before the footbaths. They were also doing basic DAN protocols (diet and supplements) and implemented a very positive therapy program, not completely ABA, and it wasn't full time.

They said that his demeanor and 'with-it-ness' had improved, and they were hopeful of full recovery.

All I know was, he was lightyears beyond my kids, although still had noticable autism traits & deficiencies for his age.

I didn't know him before, I was just going on the parent report, but it all looked fabulous. The parents didn't attribute all of their success to the foot bath, but they were certain that it was contributing to his overall health, which would help any kid.

Hope that helps!
Julie

Hi, I appriciate your response but I have some questions. Did the first child
you saw do the bath have autism? What was he like before the foot bath? Was
there a noticable change in him after the footbath?

Do your own kids that you tried it with have autism? If so was there any change
in them after the footbath?

It seems to be that people try this for a variety of reasons and I'm trying to
get a grasp on whether it has any benefits for someone with autism or not.

I don't know if this is the same type of footbath we used when we were out in Utah, but I'll share my experience.

I typically try treatments on myself before I'll use them on my kids, and meet the kids whose parents report improvement on a treatment. I visited a family in Utah who did biomedical, the diet, and the footbaths for a year+. A gal who owned the footbath would travel around and charge $40 per bath, so I asked if I could watch a session when she came to their home.

I helped hold down the feet of the child (while he watched his disney movie) during his 15 minute foot bath. The water was clear, tap water, that we'd gotten out of the bathroom. As I was holding his knees down (so he wouldn't splash), I watched the water become cloudy and black particles were sinking to the bottom.

I'm a chemist, so I'm still a bit skeptical. I thought it might be impurities in the water, or something else. At about the 11 minute mark, a small, thin worm appeared in the water. Very pale, it looked like a parasite. It was still alive, folding in half and opening up again. A bit after the 12 minute mark another appeared, but by the time the parents fished it out of the water, it was dead. It looked identical to the first.

I knew that the pores in the feet are the largest, and that is why walking barefoot in 3rd world countries can get you parasites... also, that is how we would administer glutathione and allithiamine is on the bottom of the feet. It's a great absorption spot...

but I'd never considered it a great exit spot with the footbaths till I saw with my own eyes, those parasites come out of the feet of that young child.

I immediately scheduled for me and my children to get this done.

When my children got the footbath, the water stayed clear. No difference whatsoever. She explained that you have to work up to seeing what I saw at the other house. It took them months before they saw something.

When I did it for me, however, filling the bath from the same water tap that I did for my two children, the water turned rather dark. She commented that I must better be able to detox than my children. Usually children who have difficulty detoxing are the ones whose water is clear initially.

If I could purchase my own footbath, I'd probably do it, but the thought of paying this gal $120 per visit to come to my home, when it was benefitting me more than the kids, I just decided to stop.

Everytime I see them at a conference, I wish I could just get it.

If anyone ever wanted to go in on one and share, I think it would be way easier to pass around and not damage - than a hyperbaric chamber... Although I'm interesting in getting one of those too if we don't get the grant we were hoping for to get one.

I can't speak for every brand of footbath, but overall, I was pretty impressed.

Later,
Julie

I have not tried it. I heard from our chiropractor though, that the bath has iron in it and that is what you see coming out into the water. He says it doesn't work.
