Good morning,

Please find the McHenry County Autism Group's November Recreation and
Resource Center Schedule, which has been uploaded in the files section
of our home page. We've change up a few things, once again, as our
pilot program continues. Our leader group is learning so much, in
regards to the needs of our members, as a result of the programs and
activities provided at the center. A few of the changes for this
month, are as follows:

1. McCAG is happy to announce that we are able to offer "Free Open
Recreation" to our members every Friday in November, thanks to a
generous monetary "gift" that McCAG has received from one of our
members. This means, that our members are welcome to just pop in to
play, gather resources and receive support, every Friday, at no cost.

2. You'll notice that some of our time slots for our programs, this
month, are followed by the words (slot full). This means that a
member has already reserved this program, as it was scheduled upon
request. McCAG encourage our members to make requests for assistance,
and their needs known. If it is at all possible, McCAG will be only
too happy to provide the assistance requested. Clearly, a number of
our members have caught on, this month. McCAG continues to meet the
needs of it's members, based on the requests that we have received.

3. Some our Specialty socials, this month, have a therapeutic twist
to them. McCAG is hoping to help our members "Kill two birds with one
stone", (If you'll forgive the phrase? Smile!) by providing fun
interactive activities, to enhance social growth, and also work
towards therapeutic goals, as well. Our "Therapy services" socials
are sure to be very beneficial to many of our members, so we encourage
you to sign up early, if interested.

4. McCAG is offering a community outing this month, to see the "Bee
Movie". A detailed flier will be sent out, prior to the event.


We continue to offer the variety of socials and meetings that are
regularly requested by our members. You'll also notice a few new
ones. Please, check out the November Schedule, to view the programs
and activities available. Feel free to ask questions and/or RSVP, via
