I would like to invite you to our next meeting of the McHenry County IL Autism Support Group on Tuesday, October 25th at 7:00 PM at the Hannah Beardsley School at 515 E. Crystal Lake Ave in Crystal Lake.
This is only the 2nd official group meeting so we are just in the beginning stages of devoloping the processes.
My wife and I also have a newly diagnosed 3 year old daughter and like yourself, we are looking for all the support and resources we can find locally.

Thanks to one of our wonderful therapists, I was told about this
support group and am interested in more information on support
meetings and any play groups that the group is working on. I'd love
to help out any way I can.
My son was diagnosed with Autism on March 24th of this year and it's
been very difficult for me to get involved in any type of support
groups up till now. I think I'm ready and would like to dive in!
Thanks for starting this group and being a part of it. I think we can
all learn a lot from each other - especially those of us who are
dealing with a fairly recent diagnosis.
