First and foremost I want to thank GOD for protecting us with no loss
of life. You can't appreciate all you have until you are tested. Here
at Duck Haven Farm has plenty to be thankful for. No one was hurt we
lost a lot of ducks and our Dream of our duck farm is tested but we
will eventually make it happen it just will take a lot longer.
Frances came thru and did a lot of damage here in the Marion County
and Citra area I lost over 1000 ducks 1 goat,1 sheep and house damage
two trees one on each side caught my roof on my grandson side with a
lot of damage. We just got phone, and power, out since last Saturday
and still no ice we did get some water yesterday and paid $1.50 for a
cup of ice but was grateful for that. Looks like Ivan is going to
directly hit us again next week.
Thanks for all our friends and family for checking on us. We are all
right but pray for all that have lost more than us.
