I finished the 2009 Marine Corps Marathon on October 25, 2009.
It was a beautiful day, the sunny, late-october kind of day that Marshall loved for long skates, or hikes, or cheering me on as i ran a race.

Thanks to all who helped me prepare for this race - for encouraging me and supporting. Marshall's spirit lives on through my friends and family who cheered me on - just like he did.

I think Marshall was smiling down from heaven today.
