Upcoming surgery: Carotid dissection   Message List

Hi there,

Has anyone had surgery on their carotid for a dissection? If yes, what
was your surgery like, recuperation time, any permanent limitations? My
left carotid has dissected and has developed 2 anuerisms. I am
scheduled for 2 stents at the Mayo. Any information would be GREATLY
appreciated.

... Dear Julie, i havent had this sort of surgery, but had the aortic valve replace 6 years ago, i hope all goes well for you and your upcoming surgery, hugs...
