My abdominal anerisym dissected back in 2003. I experienced a lot of pain in my back and went to the hospital. Spent a week there but the dissection did not inturupt blood supply to any of my major organs so they did not do anything except keep me in the hospital for a week and let it heal itself.

Maybe you will have good luck at preempting the dissection.
