I will just quickly give an overview of the doctor appointment. Dallas.
He had an EKG which was again abnormal due to a slow heart rate. the
doctor does not at this time think that Dallas has Marfans syndrome
since he does not have all the traits of it. It is possible he will
develop them later. She did say that he does have a connective tissue
disorder we just don't know which one yet. The echo was abnormal as
well. Dallas had an enlargement of the Aortic Root but he also has an
enlargement of the ascending aorta (which is larger that the enlarged
aortic root.)Dallas is having an MRI done next week. I am also suppose
to have an echo done at the same time. We are suppose to be referred to
a geneticist and if nothing more is wrong with the MRI we will get
another echo in 6 months at with time they will compare the rate at
which it is enlarging and decide treatment options st that time. But we
will find out more with the MRI I am hopeful. Also if my echo is fine
then Dallas's dad has to get an echo done. They think it is most likely
genetic. If my echo is abnormal then we have to get all of our children
tested. so Basically we know a little bit more about his heart but now
we have no idea what we are in for. so that's it in a nut shell.
