Hi everyone,
Just wanted to let you know that Jaden's surgery went very well.
Even
the
doctor's where doing a happy dance once it was all over.
They were more than prepared to jump right into heart surgery if that
would
have been needed also, but God watched over and he left everything
follow
through with out any further problems or other procedures being
needed.
He is slowly coming around (awake) and finally starting to talk
again.
His
air tube really did bother his throat.
Today we were able to pull his tube out from his chest as he is down
to
very
little to no bleeding. And, at some point today he will be moving
onto
a
normal hospital bed.
He does stay awake long enough to play games on the interactive
hospital
t.v. channel. I think he likes the idea of actually winning a small
prize:-)
The night before his surgery I took him on the "light rail" from
downtown
Minneapolis to the mall of america. One of us enjoyed it (not me)
and
he
can't wait to do it again.
I want to thank you for your thoughts and prayers. It really has
helped us
get through this rough time. Slowly but surely I will have my little
man
home and running around again.....I can't wait.
Tonight his brothers and sister are coming up to see him. I never
realized
how much I could really miss my "tribe" as a whole.
