Lynn,
Please encourage your son to see a cardiologist and have a complete
physical. My husband is a known second generation with Marfans and
two of my children also have Marfans. Tony has a check-up twice a
year and our children once a year. I had a brother-in-law who
refused to admit that he had Marfans and he died of an aortic
dissection in the parking lot at work one evening (it could have
been prevented if he had just kept an eye on it).
