Re: External Heat Procedure Question

Hello ssh_pk. The idea is that you remain "infertile" for the entire
6 months. Infertility, though, is a range of 0 sperm to 5 million
sperm per ejaculate. Now, a little over a year ago I did the wet heat
method and my sperm count was .5 million sperm per ejaculate. For
proof of it's irreversibility, I waited a full year and two months
without doing the heat method at all and went back for a semen
analysis. I was at 137.6 million sperm per ejaculate. So, not only
does it necessarily cause infertility, but it is also reversible.

Now, I don't have any experiential proof of it's efficacy in between
these two point in time. So, I can't answer your question directly
and through personal experience. But the literature says that after
the 6 months a suprasperm concentration occurs where the normal count
(>5 million) escalates to an approximated 250% above pretreatment
levels. This suggests to me, that since there still exist some sperm
in the post-treatment ejactulate, the sperm levels increase gradually
until full functionality comes back. At that point, it projects
or "slingshots," it back to supraejaculate levels. Further, what they
do know, is that the while you are infertile, spermatogenesis has
been stopped, and the ducts themselves are not fully operational. It
takes some months to heal the very "hardware," then the production
occurs. Liken it to a factory that has been burned down. It takes a
while before the factory can be rebuilt. Then you have to get the
machines and belts inside the factory working. Then you have to get
the people into the factory. Finally, you have to get the people
working the machines. Now, since they factory has been down so long,
the administer needs to work horrendously the first few weeks to make
up for lost money. Then, when the place is caught up, it can come
back to a moderate pace.

Hope that helps. Take care!

Isara
