Sperm banking does work - I'm not opposed to it:) But there are a couple of
serious considerations to be made:-
1, cost of sperm banking
2, viability of sperm
3 - (and this is a biggie) how are you going to use the sperm to reproduce?
Unlike using stored sperm in animal husbandry (they just artificially
inseminate bucket loads of the stuff), human sperm is always used in
conjunction with IVF techniques to produce offspring, as that is the most
likely way it will work. You have to consider the cost of IVF treatment, and
factor in how likely IVF is to be successful.
