closest to market in the US

> Which of these methods is the closest to approval in the US?

The method closest to approval in the US is a male hormonal
contraceptive. Researchers at UCLA Harbor Medical Center and the
University of Washington Department of Medicine are pursuing a
progestin-plus-testosterone hormonal contraceptive for men. These
research groups and their international partners have the backing of
a multinational pharmaceutical company, Organon. Another group at
the Population Council in New York City is conducting safety trials
of a potent and long-lasting testosterone mimic. In either case,
you're probably looking at a minimum of 10 years to market.

They're definitely not for everyone. It sounds like you've got the
research skills to ask the right questions and make an informed
choice.
