Hello, Just joined this group and have been monitoring any and all new
male contraceptives. I have not had as much luck as i have had today
finding new information. Albeit with outdated information. I see this
group has been idle for over a month now, and i would not like to see
it fade.

I am and have been a real and hard working advocate of male
contraception for a couple years now since i heard about its
possibility of becoming a reality. Whenever someone receives new
information or hears about new research findings, please post ASAP :)
I am giving as much support as i can, and would love to spread the
word in my area.

If there is ever a rally of petitions needed, i can begin one where i
live. Maybe if we all team up and hit various parts of the US and even
other coutries, get actual signitures on paper for them to see, maybe
then the $$$ for research will magicly appear. Any takers on this
possibility. If 100 of us try to get signitures and if we each get 100
signitures.... well, you do the math, but that is 10,000 signitures.
But the more the merrier, and the more willing pharmaceutical
companies will be willing to invest and get this to the next step.

I do realize some are waiting for India to go through Phase III, but
lets see if some action now will encourage US researchers more, as
oppose to things like that permanent female birth control taking
precident on something that could give men a CHOICE! I would love the
chance to be in control as oppose to "trusting" that my woman is being
responsible and honest with me. How many more times does it have to
happen where the woman ommits certain things and the man believes she
is telling the truth. Next thing you know... *insert gratuitous baby
wailing*.

We, as men, should feel confident that if we do not want a child, that
it is a decision we are responsible enough to make. And for women, it
will be an amazing burden lifted from your shoulders to know you are
not the only ones who have to keep on top of things... Although you
will have to go through some trust issues like us men do now ;)

I personally feel though, when both men and women have the choice...
Accidental pregnancies will diminish to an amazing low that will make
everyone feel more comfortable with their sexuality and commitments
with their significant others.

-Mike

P.s. Sorry about the length... first Post. :)
