I have looked into gossypol myself and as far as I can
tell, it is impossible to buy pure gossypol. However, you
may be able to buy unrefined cottonseed oil from feed
supply companies. It is used as an ingredient in livestock
feed. You could possibly use it to cook with, but it might
not taste very good. Also, the amount of gossypol in the
oil will vary and it will be impossible to know how much
you're getting. Plus, you have to worry about the
carcinogenic effects of gossypol.
All in all, I'd say it's not worth it at this point. You're
probably better off with a heat method. I've had great luck
with wet heat. I can give you details if you're interested
in trying it.
