I have the honor to inform you that the ACTMalaria will celebrate its 10th year of collaboration. To mark this special occasion, ACTMalaria will be holding a scientific symposium in Manila on November 28-30, 2006. The Symposium aims to convene the key players in the fight against malaria. I think that it is a good opportunity to participate in this special event to share and see from the achievement and lessons learned from the 10 Asian countries during a decade. I would also like to inform you that Dr. Duong Socheat, Director of the National Malaria Center(CNM), currently is the Vice President ACTMalaria, so  Cambodia will play a significant role during the Symposium.

We are honored in having the privilege to invite you to the Symposium on Malaria entitled:  "StrateGems Against Malaria in Asia:  Harmonizing Malaria Control Along and Beyond borders".   The symposium will highlight the relevant contributions of national malaria programmes in Asia in achieving the goals and targets of malaria control.

This will be a twin event that celebrates the 10th year Anniversary of ACTMalaria and culminates the Philippine Malaria Awareness Month during the Philippine Malaria Forum.  The symposium will be held at the  Philippine International Convention Center in Manila Philippines from November 28-30, 2006.
