Dear Friends,

This is just to give an update about malaria
competence in The Gambia and round 6 proposal
development.

The Gambaia NMCP recently received a team of 6
collegues from sera leone to learn about some of our
malaria control and prevention activities namely the
peer health education strategy and how we are using
malaria competence to link it with our communities.

The team spent 5 days with us and we were able to do a
lot of field visits. Finaly ,we worked together to
develop a plan for replication in serra leone.

Collegues this is learning and sharing and we were
very happy to share what we have interms of our
expereiences. Ibrahim Kamara was part of the team and
he was pleased as well. Communities are using the
competence process to help themselves and its working.

About round 6 we are also putting up a proposal to
scale what we are currently implementing and we can
use that to scale malaria compence as we are doing
now.
