Hi John. Sorry I didn't get back sooner.

I have to say I'm no scientist, nor researcher other than for my own
personal use. So when I say "studies" I mean from what I have read on many
magnet web sites. Most say use only negative pole for healing, some books
say this--though I've read a few books (and sites) that say it is not
important because a person using any magnet is always being exposed to both
poles.

So though this is true, technically, the main strength and field seems to
come from the pole facing the body, and minor field strength from the
opposite pole.

And as I said--this use of a single negative pole for healing--is my own
personal opinion. For what is best for ME. I'm sure others have had other
experience. But I feel better using the negative pole only, rather than
n/s/n/s chaos theory. :-)

I've read on the ormus group--and a few sites--that putting n/s/n/s poles on
a blender to spin water makes good water. And yet in Peter's book and other
sites it says using only a negative pole is best. Somehow, again for me
only, this just makes more sense. If the north/negative side is more
healing--as I believe--then it would only make sense to use just the one
pole for making mag water, too.

What I'm curious about is why you would say one pole use would be better for
a therapist to use, while bipolar is safer for a layman? What would be
unsafe for a layman to use as one pole?

It seems to me that nowhere does any site or book say that magnets are
unsafe to use. Simply that using the wrong side can make the pain increase,
which can be easily reversed by switching poles. Do you feel there's
something else going on?

I'd be interested to read any studies you find that confirm that opinion.

My personal belief is that one pole techniques are better suited for
therapist use, while bipolar techniques can be safely used for
self-treating.
