Would the north pole of a magnet be consiered a broadspectrum

IMHO No.
An antibiotic acts directly against the infection. I think magnotherapy
helps the body's own defences to work a bit better and fight the infection.
And I have found no controlled studies showing that north poles work better
than south or bipolar designs.
It's interesting to note that three of the major magnotherapy manufacturers
make bipolar designs for for use by the customer without expert practioner
advice being necessary.
Almost all the professional 'magnotherapists' say you need to be trained to
diagnose and prescribe magnets and all seem to suggest that N pole good, S
pole bad.
Perhaps bipolar designs are inherently safe and 'unipole' designs are not?<g>
