Hi
My daughter suffered for 5 years with Psychiatric Lyme...mis- diagnosed as Rapid Cycling Bipolar and Hypochondriasis. At 14 she got a flu-like illness and daily blasting headaches and by the age of 16 she was suicidal, raging/manic/ depressed, hallucinating, and had a complete personality change along with severe bodily pains. The salt/c was tried but her stomach could not tolerate it or food for that matter. We finally found the BODIHEALTH/JAI low current technology treatments by the EPRT company and with in 6 MONTHS ALL SYMPTOMS WERE VANISHED! My "crazy" daughter is now normal and pain free and 21 years old. Abx and herbs were tried but by the 6th month the herxes were so intolerable and the brain herxes so bad(mentally) that she gave up and was self medicating with illegal drugs. The treatment that helped her so much is being done at a clinic in Encinitas ( San Diego county). SHE IS TRYING TO GET BACK THE CHILDHOOD SHE LOST TO THIS DISEASE!

Subject: Very Informative: See What's in the Health Care Bill

Hi Nadine,

This doesn't matter if you're a Democrat or Republican, young
or old.  This bill affects all of us and we should all be aware
of what this bill is about, so I'm forwarding a link to the
healthcare bill so we can all be truly informed as to its'
contents.  Make up your own mind; but, at least know all the
facts before you do.

My thought, that if this healthcare plan is so great, why is
the Congress, Senate and President exempt from having to have
it?  If it's "good" for the American people, shouldn't it be
good for ALL of the American people, including those who
represent us?

Look Here to See What’s in the Health Care Bill

Obama makes comments like "You'll still keep your doctor" or "You'll keep your existing health care." He is either lying to us or he has no idea what is in it. Take a peek at the full report, or look at some of the highlights here:

Pg 22 of the HC Bill mandates the Government will auditbooks of all employers that self insure. Can you imagine what that will do to small businesses? Every one will abandon “selfinsurance” and go on Government insurance . So when Obama says that there will still be private health care, it’s simply a lie: this mandate will force employers to abandon their private plans.

Pg 30 Sec 123 of HC bill – a Government committee (good luck with that!) will decide what treatments/benefits a person may receive.

Pg 29 lines 4-16 in the HC bill - YOUR HEALTHCARE WILL BE RATIONED! (We all knew this, because health care is rationed in Canada and Britain, but Obama kept saying it would not be).

Pg 42 of HC Bill – The Health Choices Commissioner will choose your HC Benefits for you. You will have no choice!

PG 50 Section 152 in HC bill - HC will be provided to ALL non US citizens, illegal or otherwise.

Pg 58 HC Bill – Government will have real-time access to individual’s finances and a National ID Healthcard will be issued!

Pg 59 HC Bill lines 21-24 Government will have direct access to your bank accts for election funds transfer

PG 65 Sec 164 is a payoff subsidized plan for retirees and their families in Unions & community organizations (read: ACORN).

Pg 72 Lines 8-14 Government will create an HC Exchange to bring private HC plans under Government control.

PG 84 Sec 203 HC bill - Government mandates ALL benefitpackages for private HC plans in the Exchange.

PG 85 Line 7 HC Bill - Specifics of Benefit Levels for Plans = The Government will ration your Healthcare!

PG 91 Lines 4-7 HC Bill - Government mandates linguistic appropriate services. Example - Translation for illegal aliens.

Pg 95 HC Bill Lines 8-18 The Government will use groups, i.e. ACORN & Americorps, to sign up individuals for Government HC plan.

PG 85 Line 7 HC Bill - Specifics of Benefit Levels for Plans. AARP members - your Health care WILL be rationed.

-PG 102 Lines 12-18 HC Bill - Medicaid Eligible Individuals will be automatically enrolled in Medicaid. No choice.

pg 124 lines 24-25 HC No company can sue Government on price fixing. No "judicial review" against Government Monopoly..

pg 127 Lines 1-16 HC Bill - Doctors/ AMA - The Government will tell YOU what you can earn.

Pg 145 Line 15-17 An Employer MUST auto enroll employees into public option plan. NO CHOICE.

Pg 126 Lines 22-25 Employers MUST pay for HC for part time employees AND their families.

Pg 149 Lines 16-24 ANY Employer with payroll $400k & above who does not provide public option pays 8% tax on all payroll.

pg 150 Lines 9-13 Businesses with payroll between $251k & $400k who don’t provide public option pay 2-6% tax on all payroll.

Pg 167 Lines 18-23 ANY individual who doesn’t have acceptable HC according to Government=2 0will be taxed 2.5% of income.

Pg 170 Lines 1-3 HC Bill Any NONRESIDENT Alien is exempt from individual taxes. (Americans will pay.)

Pg 195 HC Bill -officers & employees of HC Admin (the GOVERNMENT) will have access to ALL Americans’ finances and personal records.

PG 203 Line 14-15 HC - "The tax imposed under this section shall not be treated as tax" Yes, it says that.

Pg 239 Line 14-24 HC Bill Government will reduce physician services for Medicaid. Seniors, low income, poor affected.

Pg 241 Line 6-8 HC Bill – Doctors – doesn’t matter what specialty – will all be paid the same.

PG 253 Line 10-18 Government sets value of Doctor’s time, professional judgment, etc. Literally, value of humans.

PG 265 Sec 1131Government mandates & controls productivity for private HC industries.

PG 268 Sec 1141 Federal Government regulates rental & purchase of power driven wheelchairs.

PG 272 SEC. 1145. TREATMENT OF CERTAIN CANCER HOSPITALS - Cancer patients - welcome to rationing!

Page 280 Sec 1151 The Government will penalize hospitals for what Government deems preventable readmissions.

Pg 298 Lines 9-11 Doctors who treat a patient during initial admission that results in a readmission - Government will penalize you.

Pg 317 L 13-20 OMG!! PROHIBITION on ownership/investment. Government tells Doctors what/how much they can own.

Pg 317-318 lines 21-25,1-3 PROHIBITION on expansion - Government=2 0will mandate hospitals cannot expand.

pg 321 2-13 Hospitals have opportunity to apply for exception BUT community input required. Can u say ACORN?!

Pg335 L 16-25 Pg 336-339 - Government mandates establishment of outcome-based measures which of course forces health care rationing.

Pg 341 Lines 3-9 Government has authority to disqualify Medicare Adv Plans, HMOs, etc., forcing people into Government plan.

Pg 354 Sec 1177 - Government will RESTRICT enrollment of Special needs people!

Pg 379 Sec 1191 Government creates more bureaucracy - Telehealth Advisory Committee. HC by phone.

PG 425 Lines 4-12 Government mandates Advance Care Planning Consultations. Think Senior Citizens end of life prodding.

Pg 425 Lines 17-19 Government will instruct & consult regarding living wills, durable powers of attorney. Mandatory!

PG 425 Lines 22-25, 426 Lines 1-3 Government provides approved list of end of life resources, guiding you in how to die.

PG 427 Lines 15-24 Government mandates program for orders for end of life. The Government has a say in how your life ends.

Pg 429 Lines 1-9 An "advanced care planning consultant" will be used frequently as patients’ health deteriorates.

PG 429 Lines 10-12 "advanced care consultation" may include an ORDER for end of life plans. AN ORDER from the Government to end a life!

Pg 429 Lines 13-25 - The Government will spe cify which Doctors can write an end of life order.

PG 430 Lines 11-15 The Government will decide what level of treatment you will have at end of life.

Pg 469 - Community Based Home Medical Services/Non profit orgs. (ACORN Medical Services here?)

Page 472 Lines 14-17 PAYMENT TO COMMUNITY-BASED ORGANIZATION. 1 monthly payment to a community-based organization. (Like ACORN?)

PG 489 Sec 1308 The Government will cover Marriage & Family therapy. Which means they will insert Government into our marriages.

Pg 494-498 Government will cover Mental Health Services including defining, creating, rationing those services. You’d better speak up now before you are on the "advanced care consultation" list.

Wow I started checking some of this out and it is outlandish.
Check for yourself by reading the bill as it exists. Go to
http://www.opencongress.org/bill/111-h3200/text   (Government
website not BS) and read it yourself. Please draw your own
conclusions and don't necessarily trust this.

We all need to be informed and call our congress people to let
them know the way we think they should vote.

Have a great weekend,
Brian

You attitude reminds me of Walter Last. Have you read any of his books or
articles? A couple of his books are now on the internet to download free.
Healing Foods was his main and basic book and protocol that formed the basic of
healing for all conditions. I have this now on Word documents by chapter. I also
have his ebooks on Candida as well as the one for Allergies and Asthma -which
are also free downloads now.

HEALING FOODS
Walter Last
http://www.health-science-spirit.com/contents.html

Nutrition is the main tool with which I helped patients overcome a wide range of
diseases claimed medically to be incurable. Unnatural nutrition is one of the
major causes of most of our diseases, while natural nutrition is an equally
powerful agent in curing these diseases and rejuvenating our bodies.

I feel that my training and work experience as research chemist, biochemist and
toxicologist, together with that of practising nutritionist and natural
therapist, allow me an insight that would not have been possible if I had worked
only as a conventional scientist or as a natural therapist.

The information in this book has grown out of practical experience in the
prevention as well as the cure of most of our chronic and medically incurable
diseases and is therefore more useful.

Most of our commonly eaten foods contribute to gradual health deterioration and
the development of chronic diseases. This book explains in detail why and how
our everyday 'problem' foods cause our diseases and how potent health foods can
be used to cure these diseases and rejuvenate our bodies.

Healing Foods gives the theoretical explanations so that you, the reader, can
make intelligent and informed choices. Depending on your health goals and
present health problems, you may either make some gradual adjustments to your
present diet or decide to go all the way and experiment with the most powerful
health diet designed to cure incurable diseases and rejuvenate body and mind.
The reward in terms of improved health is generally proportional to the effort

Fluoroquinolones, however, are well-known for their ability to block GABA
receptors in the brain. Gamma-aminobutyric acid is a major inhibitory
neurotransmitter and most sedative drugs (and some anticonvulsants) either
increase the levels of GABA or simulate its actions. Blocking the GABA receptor
can lead to psychosis, depression and even seizures. Fluoroquinolones can also
damage the tendons.

Many drugs in the class have been withdrawn from the market because of adverse
effects. Some examples of fluoroquinolones still on the market include:

ciprofloxacin (Cipro, Ciloxan)
gatifloxacin (Tequin)
levofloxacin (Levaquin, Tavanic)
lomefloxacin (Maxaquin)
moxifloxacin (Avelox)
norfloxacin (Noroxin)
ofloxacin (Floxin, Tarivid)
Not all of these medications are available in all countries and brand names may
vary.

Fluoroquinolones can cause long-lasting, even permanent damage, including
symptoms like neuropathy (nerve damage) which may lead to severe pain. It is
impossible to predict who gets this reaction, but corticosteroids (like
prednisone), NSAIDs (like ibuprofen) and caffeine may increase the risk and
should not be combined with fluoroquinolones.

Some people who have been damaged by fluoroquinolones - they often call
themselves "floxed" - have extensive disability, with problems like fatigue,
muscle weakness, cognitive problems, neurological symptoms, cardiac arrhythmia,
hearing loss, rashes, headaches, anxiety, tremor, and extensive pain. The
resulting illness may resemble fibromyalgia and CFS/ME. For many, it is a living
hell.

Some of the affected appear to recover from this reaction in a few weeks or
months, but others may be left with permanent, devastating disability. It is
difficult to prove that the symptoms are caused by the drugs, as most doctors
aren't aware of such severe reactions and the companies manufacturing them are
not keen on admitting the problems.

A paper published in a medical journal in 1996 suggests that symptoms of
"floxing" may be ameliorated by gamma-hydroxybutyrate (GHB), also known as
sodium oxybate. This medication is available in the United States and some other
countries as the sleeping aid Xyrem, but it is officially only approved for
narcolepsy and is very expensive. The muscle relaxant baclofen (Lioresal) may
act in a similar fashion.

This is interesting. I noticed the references to tingling and nerve pain, which
some on here have reported.

These symptoms can linger for years after you stop the medication.

Most interestingly to me, he seems to spend a lot of time talking about

That's four questions, Scotty.

????????Question for you Shep???????

OK

??????Did you have Chronic Lyme???????

Short answer, yes, according to a few blood sucking quacks and labs like Igenex and all those hoards of other leeches profiting from germ theory and our suffering.

Long answer, no, twas chronic toxemia from living in a toxic world, eating toxic food in harmful combination. I was sick when the tick bit.

??????Are you cured now???????

Small answer, yes, understanding the word "cured" as an abstract concept.

Long answer, no, if you mean symptom free. I understand that after 50 years of toxemia there is going to be lingering scaring from organic damage. I've expected 7 years to heal from the beginning. But the fatigue is gone, replaced with super vitality and a movie star body, lol. (my sis made this comment).

????????If so why do you think you are totally cured????????

Refer to preceding long answer.

????????how did you do it????????

Short answer, I quit attacking the disease and concentrated on improving my health.

Long answer, refer to post #84806, only 11 replys! Oh well the sun is shining and I have a boat to build.

All you have to do is to STOP doing the things that are doing you harm. Your body, given favorable circumstances and with its inbuilt wisdom, will soon restore itself.

Nature doesn't cure anything , it's designrd to heal.

Woah, thumbs up for all of you guys and gals. I really appreciate your
dedication towards helping fellow people with lyme disease.

Alright 2 weeks are over now and I'll have to do another week of
antibiotics. I have the general feeling that stuff is getting better ,
even though yesterday and today are worse again. (Tho I really think,
that I'm herxing at the moment. The periods of "feeling bad" seem to
occur every 5 days or so and after that I usually feel better than
before. Well if that really is the truth I should feel much better by
tomorrow :) )

But there's one thing that is concerning me quite a lot, but strangely
only started to occur since I'm in the hospital. Sometimes the lower
area of my stomach starts to hurt like hell. And when I say "like hell"
I mean it, it's really no fun.
Those pains disappear within a minute or so, making it even more weird.

Could this also be related to lyme? Since it started in the hospital, I
wouldn't think so, but I also do not think that it's just because the
antibiotics are also killing the good bacteria. After all, I'm still
trying to eat a lot of vegetables and some probiotic yogurt and the fact
that those pains only occur for one or two minutes or so seem to
indicate that it's something else. At least that's what I believe.

Anyone ever experienced something like this? Any idea what that could
be?

Lots of spices are considered to be antibacterial too. Some of these
include cinnamin, cumin, thyme and tarragon basil, dill, allspice,
oregano, black and white pepper, celery seed. Turmeric is just plain
good for us. I make a chicken curry every week using turmeric, fresh
ginger, cumin, fenugreek, garlic, onion etc along with a can of coconut
milk for good measure...yummy lol.

the best all-around bacteria killers (they kill everything), followed by
thyme, cinnamon, tarragon and cumin (any of which kill up to 80 percent
of bacteria). Capsicums, including chilies and other hot peppers, are in
the middle of the antimicrobial pack (killing or inhibiting up to 75
percent of bacteria), while pepper of the white or black variety
inhibits 25 percent of bacteria, as do ginger, anise seed, celery seed
and the juices of lemons and limes."

sucks that we can't package up a one-size-fits-all treatment. That is
the unfortunate truth about this illness for now. I do know that
exercise will increase the oxygen in your body and it will raise your
body temp too. That could be the cause the herx symptoms you were
feeling while exercising. If you feel tired then you will need the extra
sleep.

From what I gather though, Igenex includes the 2 bands that the CDC threw out
after the disastrous vaccine. I can also get the coinfections tested which I
can't here. The only positive band was the IgG 41kd. I will look at the
folder, thanks.

From time to time I peruse Amazon for new Lyme books.  Anyone read this one?

Chronic Lyme Disease - Ways to Outsmart a Smart Disease by Gigi Guthrie M.S.W

Is it any good, worth the purchase?  Not enough reviews on Amazon to be helpful.

Does anyone out there know which is the best EMF device to neutralize EMFS in the home, I know that the plug in devices don't work well, I have the chips, but there is a device out there that sends a frequency out that is supposed to neutralize all other frequencies in the home, does anyone know if this works? Thanks, Troy

I don't have high blood pressure most of the time, but have been told that this was helpful article by somebody whom was trying to lower their blood pressure naturally.

I do know that magnesium lowers blood pressure. With magnesium one of the important things is to look for how much 'elemental magnesium' is in the product. And many products will not have that info on the label - but good quality products should have that info. "Elemental" magnesium is the amount of magnesium that is available for you to absorb! This is what you need to know. Magnesium relaxes your viens so that more blood can go through them - among other things. You will find more info as well as studies about blood pressure and magnesisum at www.mgwater. com

Magnesium in Hypertension Prevention and Control.rtf
In pdf format, webpage, and 'printer' format. Because of magnesium's primary role in blood pressure regulation, for decades scientists have called magnesium "nature's calcium channel blocker". Magnesium directly offsets the constriction of blood vessels" A study published in the International Journal of Cardiology in 1996 found that taking 600 mg of magnesium daily reduced systolic blood pressure by an average of 7.6 mm Hg & diastolic pressure by an average of 3.8 mm Hg.23 In another double-blind, placebo-controlled study published in the B

For me, magnesium glycinate is the best magnesium supplement. The glycinate is a 'carrier' and helps me absorb the 'elemental' magnesium. I take 9 capsules a day each with 110 mg of 'elemental' magnesium. Magnesium taurate is another supplement that good for absorbing - and magnesium chloride is always effective choice, though I know could not absorb it as well as the glycinate.

---What do you mean by HBP? What are your numbers? I have struggled with this
for a long time. I was in the 180's and 190's and in the lower number in the
90'sor 100's It always get worse when I am killing pathogens. Here is what has
helped me. The same that has been mentioned already with the CQ10 and Hawthorne)
I get mine from www.luckyvitamin.com and it comes together and is a great deal
by Now Foods- they are a good company I have been told).I also rotate the
enzymes that destroy the biofilm ( my doctor says that you cannot get rid of
Lyme unless you destroy the biofilm that they hide in). I do Wobenzyme now but I
have been on Nattokinase and Serrapeptase as well. My doctor says also that it
is important to rotate and keep these critters on their toes. The PH Miracle
diet book by Young I think it is is also a great book to help in understanding
the impact of food on our bodies especially pathogens. But lately I have
discovered more books by Sherry Rogers, MD, that are excellent with High blood
pressure and explaining the heart and its sensitivities. Her books are
incredible. I have tons of health books since I cannot do drugs and I have been
sick for close to forty years and treating myself the natural way with the help
of some incredible doctors througout the years. None however, discovered I had
Lyme till 3 years ago. I was born with it. My mother and grandmother had it. But
we are from France so I do not think that the blood tests that I took here
showed the European versions of some of these pathogens.
The thing that has had the most dramatic impact on my BP has been EWOT-
excercise with oxygen therapy. Here is a good website to check
www.oxygenhealingtherapies.com Very educational
The heart I have experienced and have learned through reading is very sensitive
to allergies, chemicals etc. You could be having a reaction to the antibiotics
or you may just be having a reaction to all the pathogens being killed and the
toxins that they are releasing. I get also relief from doing my own home
colonics. It helps my blood pressure. My blood pressure goes up and up as the
toxins build up and then when I to things to detox it reduces the toxic level
and decreases the stress on my heart. Even though my BP is still not normal and
still too high it is now in the 150's and 80's. We were concerned I was going to
have a stroke and I went to a cardiologist and got checked. My arteries where
clean and I know that was due to the EWOT and the supplements I take as well as
my Diet. We had to stop treatment at one point because I was having problems
breathing and functioning so I have come a long way. I cannot handle my weight.
I eat well and little and yet all those toxins go to my fat cells and I keep
gaining without being able to control it. This too affects my BP but I have come
a long ways and I remember being in your shoes. Even though the war is not over
this battle I feel I have made some good victories. I too tried to find a group
for High BP but the heart problems that come from Lyme are so different than
from the typical problems. I would recommend you buy Sherry Rogers book on high
blood pressure. It is called the "high blood pressure hoax" She is
unconventional but a tremendous doctor and well respected by many physicians.
According to her the infrared sauna is a must for people with high blood
pressure. All other saunas are harmful for us with high BP. Her book "detoxify
or die" has a large section on it and great instructions on how to use them
wisely and effectively.
Hope some of this helps
cathy

Yes, could you please tell me what other tests would be a good idea? I think
this is an important issue to healing and getting well and I have been remiss in
not addressing it more effectively before this. My excuse is being very
depressed but in my books that excuse does not 'cut it'.

Unfortunately the PS did not seem to help as much last night. I only got 3
hours of a light sleep. I will start taking it at noon too, and if that doesn't
help then also double the dose it night. And see is that makes any difference.
Though both today and yesterday I do not feel so cold - just coolish. Which is
not bad - it is raining here "cats and dogs" and very humid.

         Thank you again Gina.
