eating wheat can be a big problem,

 try c.olloidal silver and a 50/50 dmso on the shingles .

drink c.silver too.

 a rife machine will do wounders for shingles too.

It's funny that you mention the lysine. I've been considering taking a regular daily dose. My boyfriend actually used to get terrible chronic cold sores as a child, and was on a daily regimen when he was younger. He's 33 now, and hasn't had a cold sore since he was in his mid-twenties.

When he suggested I start taking the lysine, I wasn't sure it would be applicable for the herpes. What would you recommend as a daily dose? He suggested two tablets, which works out to 1000mg of L-Lysine.

Heh, maybe I should have listened to him. At this point, I'm willing to try almost any option that seems feasible, because I continue to have a new outbreak start just as the last one is ending. It's ridiculous! As I mentioned, since the first outbreak, I've only had ONE WEEK where I wasn't.

Here's the strange thing.... I'm 99% sure I got it from him (the herpes). I think I would have known if I had it earlier. My immune system has been shot for years. I had shingles after basic, even. I just had my first outbreak three months ago, the week that he moved down to Florida to join me.

I don't hold it against him... fair trade, after all. He gets lyme, and I get herpes. ;) We love each other, and are both okay with  swapping diseases. But he has NEVER had an outbreak. Not that he's aware of. And I'm thinking that if I had just given it to HIM, he would have had an outbreak in the last 3 months at some point. He hasn't.

I wonder if certain people are just carriers of herpes? If so, I want some of those genes!

My trip to Virginia was enjoyable! One thing of note... when I was flying, I noticed that my joint pain was a LOT worse when we were at higher altitudes. Has anyone else experienced that?
