Sorry Melissa, - really venting at the system/family not you. Maybe I shouldn't post for awhile, this disease is turning me into a----------------------------
witch.
Hope you're feeling better.
Jess
Naw, don't worry about it, we all certainly know frustration only too well.
Once again, not doctors here, just fellows sharing ideas, thoughts, etc. - joandy makes a valid point about ER, they cannot turn a person away. So, if it comes to wanting to at least check the basics, you might consider that.
You mentioned the lower back ache along with the bloating. This is common to several possibilities, so is not conclusive in itself in terms of the suggestions of UTI, kidney infection, endometrial, or simply (as some gals have posted in the past regarding their own experience) aspects of herx and elimination regarding menstrual/reproductive area with the protocol. (As regards more endometrial: the S/C, during its process, can seem to mimic aspects of it as microbes are killed off in the uterine area. For the uterine lining an extremely blood-rich, mucous lining, which is where an egg would attach in terms of reproductive and is what is usually broken down and shed at cycle time. However, if there is microbial presence, it can effect the appearance of eliminated material.)
Do you have pain/discomfort elsewhere? When urinating? Around cycle time? Is urinating frequent? Do you have known yeast/fungal issues? How is bowel elimination (and is it at least couple times/day)? If you want to PM me on this, feel free.
All the best,
Marc
