Welcome to the Celiac Disease support group for Las Vegas. Celiac Disease is also known as gluten sensitive enteropathy, gluten intolerance or celiac sprue. It is the most under-diagnosed common disease, affecting 1 in every 100 people in the USA. It is a chronic, inherited disease, and if untreated can ultimately lead to malnutrition. If you are affected by this disease; whether it be yourself, family member or friend and live in, or are travelling to, the Las Vegas area this group is for you. On this site you will find information such as restaurants that serve gluten-free meals, a kids section, recipes, lists of G.I. doctors in the area and grocery stores that supply gluten-free products. You will also find support in our members.
