Moving the money...
In the welter of events following the bombing of the World Trade
Center in Feb. 26, 1993, few noticed that the first man arrested,
Mohammed Salameh—the poor, unemployed illegal immigrant --
offered $5 million for bail. Where could he get this kind of money?
The judge refused bail. But was the source of Salameh's offer the
same as the one that funded the eight men—arrested shortly
afterward—who planned to blow up Manhattan's tunnels and bridges
and to assassinate public officials?
Were the same money sources behind the final attack on the World
Trade Center on Sept. 11?
... For a long time, there has been evidence that terrorist,
international drug trafficking and criminal organizations use the
same fund-raising methods to enrich themselves.
Yet no one seemed to connect the dots. And no one seriously tried to
crack down on their financing.
Bin Laden's is only one among many hostile international criminal
organizations, often state-sponsored, that will do whatever they can
to diminish the status of the United States as the only superpower.
According to a State Department report, the Taliban, who are at bin
Laden's service, has the advantage of controlling the world's
largest heroin production and distribution in the world.
Since the Taliban took over Afghanistan, the heroin production
soared to hundreds of tons each year. In 1999 alone, the world
production of heroin was estimated at 500 metric tons; 400 were
produced by the Taliban and available to fund bin Laden and his
associates worldwide. First warning
The writing was on the wall on July 5, 1991, when the Bank of
England shut down what was the most important Islamic bank in the
world, the Bank of Credit and Commerce International (BCCI). This
criminal entity was created by the Pakistani Aaga Hassan Abedi "to
fight the evil influence of the West"; to help with the creation of
the "Islamic Bomb"; to finance all Muslim terrorist organizations;
and to launder the money that was generated mostly by illicit drug
trafficking and other illegal activities, including arms
trafficking.
When BCCI went belly up, we learned from thousands of documents that
Abu Nidal—the notorious Palestinian terrorist organization that
now enjoys the hospitality of Iraq's Saddam Hussein, the Palestine
Liberation Organization (PLO), Hezbollah and bin Laden—had
accounts in the bank. By the end of the 1980s, the "special
services" provided by BCCI included access to Western humanitarian
and international development funds, as well as drug money
laundering, secret transfers of cash and bribes.
A "Black Network," a special enforcement unit supported by Abu Nidal
and other terrorist organizations, operated from Pakistan. The same
Pakistan that harbored bin Laden for many years while its officials
told the United States that they didn't know his whereabouts. And
the same Pakistan that for decades, even according to the State
Department's annual report, had been a major drug trafficking and
money laundering center.

Western blindness
Yet, now more importantly, we also discovered that the American and
British governments knew and kept the bank open for a long time. The
bank "that would bribe God" was able to get away with its criminal
activities for decades due to Abedi's clever portrayal of the Muslim
nations as victims of Western—and particularly U.S. --
"imperialism." And when the bank was shuttered, the accusation in
the Muslim/Arab and Third World countries was that the U.S. and the
United Kingdom governments closed the bank to curtail the growing
fiscal power of Muslim countries.
Like Abedi, anti-American, anti-Western terrorist and radical Muslim
states and organizations, such as the Taliban, Al Qaeda, Hamas,
Hezbollah, the PLO, Iraq and Iran, use Western democratic rhetoric
to their advantage. But it is the willful blindness, mainly toward
the growing volume of drug money laundering, exercised by Western
bankers on the one hand and Western politicians on the other, that
makes money laundering possible, despite the many laws and
international conventions to control this phenomenon.
The BCCI was the first warning to the West. The second warning about
the abuse of European and American financial markets by terrorist
organizations, as well as their involvement in the illicit arms and
drug trade, was made in February 1994 by the British National
Criminal Intelligence Service (NCIS).
The Organized Crime Unit of the NCIS warned that Middle East
terrorist groups and states were targeting the financial centers of
London, Frankfurt and other Western countries, and that they favor
illegal drug trafficking, money laundering and fraud....
Clinton appeasement
Despite its stated policy of not negotiating with terrorists, the
Clinton administration went out of its way to appease a few of the
20th century's most notorious terror groups: the Revolutionary Armed
Forces of Colombia (FARC), the PLO and the Irish Republican Army.
All are heavily involved in the drug trade.
On the eve of the 1993 handshake on the White House lawn between
Israeli Prime Minister Yitzak Rabin and PLO Chairman Yasser Arafat,
Britain's National Criminal Intelligence Service estimated the PLO's
ill-gotten gains to total between $8 billion to $10 billion, with an
annual income of about $1.5 billion to $2 billion from "donations,
extortion, payoffs, illegal arms dealing, drug trafficking, money
laundering, fraud, etc."
Since then, Washington has only aided and abetted the PLO. Since the
start of the Oslo process, Arafat has received at least $3 billion
more from the United States and the international community, without
any serious demand for accountability, according to a report this
year to Congress. Arafat, in well-documented instances, has been
systematically skimming off portions of these funds, as he has with
monies given to him on behalf of the refugees in the camps.
The PLO was in the drug trafficking business almost from the
beginning. Operating from Lebanon, under Habash's able leadership
and assisted by a PLO-owned shipping company SUMUD, the organization
exported hashish, opium, heroin and cocaine, first to Europe and
later even to the United States and Australia. In return, it
obtained weapons for their war against Israel and the West, and
amassed a massive treasure trove. In addition, the PLO and Arafat,
who enjoy the financial and strategic support of Hussein and bin
Laden, have the distinction of being the organization that
promoted "suicide bombers" as a weapon.
Yet the Clinton administration subsidized a multitude of radical
Palestinian groups, ranging from Arafat's Fatah branch of the PLO
and its military wing, the Tanzim, to the socialist-nationalist
Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), headed by
George Habash, all with close ties to bin Laden, Iraq and Iran.
...It was the Clinton White House that, despite evidence to the
contrary, removed Syria from its list of the drug trafficking
countries, to entice Syria to join the "peace process" in the Middle
East.
The failure of that process and the compromises the United States
has made to maintain an illusion of peaceful prospects had no doubt
added to the Muslim radical terrorists' resolve to attack what they
see as a naive and vulnerable America.
In another example of self-delusion, in 1999, then Secretary of
State Madeleine Albright suggested a U.S.-led coalition to negotiate
with the FARC and supported Colombia President Pastrana's "land for
peace" initiative, despite a report from the General Accounting
Office that the FARC is running a major international criminal
enterprise that, among other things, supplies hundreds of tons of
cocaine and heroin to the U.S. black market.
This second Clinton "land for peace" initiative gave half of
Colombia to the narco-terrorist FARC, while doing nothing to
diminish its violence or appetite to control the rest of the

We feel that George W. Bush needs more than two terms to complete
the work of winning the war against terrorists, and the state
sponsors of terror
who seek weapons of mass destruction. We want to draft George W.
Bush for
President of the United States for a third term and if need be for a
fourth and
a fifth term.


We realize that Bill Clinton would also be eligible to run in 2008
if the 22nd Amendment is repealed, all we can say to that is: "Bring
it on". Let
Bill Clinton run if he wants to, we feel he would lose dramatically
to
George W.Bush, and would not take the chance of running and losing.
Our ideal
ticket in 2008 if Dick Cheney wants to retire then, would be George
W. Bush
for President and Joe Lieberman for Vice President. We think that
both the
Republican and Democratic Parties should nominate that ticket in
2008.

Failing that, if Joe Lieberman wanted to run as a Democrat against
George W.
Bush in 2008, at least America would be in good hands no matter
which of them
won.

(CBS) A high-ranking al Qaeda detainee told investigators the
intended target of United Airlines Flight 93, which crashed into a
Pennsylvania field on Sept. 11, was the White House.
Government sources said Abu Zubaydah, now in U.S. custody, is
believed to be the source of the information. He is being
interrogated by U.S. officials at an undisclosed location.
Investigators have linked Zubaydah directly to hijackers on board
Flight 93.
United Flight 93 took off from Newark, N.J., and crashed in Somerset
County, Pa.. A recorder on the plane and calls made to people on the
ground indicate passengers fought for control with the hijackers
before it went down.
The San Francisco-bound jet had turned toward Washington and U.S.

Officials previously had assumed the White House was a likely
target, but said the Capitol and CIA headquarters in McLean, Va.,
near Washington were other possibilities.Abu Zubaydah is believed to
have played a key role in organizing the Sept. 11 attacks, officials
said. As al Qaeda's top operational planner, he ran the Khalden camp
in Afghanistan, where U.S. investigators have learned many of the
Sept. 11 hijackers trained. This suggests Abu Zubaydah may have had
direct contact with the hijackers and chosen them for training.
He also had telephone contacts with at least one Arab student at
U.S. flight schools, according to a July 10, 2001, memo from a
Phoenix FBI agent.
The CIA, FBI and Pakistani authorities captured and wounded Abu
Zubaydah in a raid by in Faisalabad, Pakistan, in March. He is
believed to have masterminded the failed millennium bombing plots in
Los Angeles and Jordan, and has been linked to failed plots on the
U.S. embassies in Paris and Sarajevo.
Abu Zubaydah was also indirectly linked, through a web of
associations with other al Qaeda members in Europe, to lead Sept. 11
hijacker Mohammed Atta and his cell in Hamburg, Germany. Three
members of the Hamburg cell were suicide hijackers; three others are
still at large. Ziad Jarrah, believed to be the pilot-hijacker of
Flight 93, was a member of the Hamburg cell."

had been shuttling between Baghdad and Afghanistan, meeting Zawahri,
for the past two years. According to the sources, the Pakistanis
captured one of the Iraqi intelligence officers last October near the
border with Afghanistan. "The Iraqis are also reported to have
established strong ties with Imad Moughniyeh," the report said. It
quoted unconfirmed reports in Beirut as saying that Moughniyeh had
undergone plastic surgery and was unrecognisable. The report quoted
one Israeli intelligence source as saying Israeli military
intelligence had warned Israel's allies six weeks ago that an
"unprecedented, massive terror attack was expected." Moughniyeh, a
member of Lebanon's Shi'ite Muslim Hizbollah movement, was behind a
wave of anti-American attacks in Lebanon in the 1980s, including the
truck bombing of a barracks in Beirut in 1983 that killed 241 U.S.

We saw Dan Rather seemingly freak out and have a seemingly near
nervous breakdown about September 11th, on the David Letterman Show
on September 17th, 2001, followed on September 18th, 2001 by the
sending of anthrax by Saddam Hussein, perhaps to shut Dan Rather's
mouth about what he might have known about such things? Who can say?
"Dead Men Tell No Tales", as the saying goes, and Rather was
certainly coming up with some bizarre quotes in his coverage of the
November 2nd, 2004 election on CBS. Was he freaking out again?
His voice seemed to quake as he spoke about September 11th.

"Dan Rather's bias, of course, was obvious long before he and
producer Mary Mapes used forgeries to impeach President Bush's
National Guard
service. Now CBS News remains the most persistently anti-Bush,
growing more
intense as Election Day draws near. Consider: On Thursday, the CBS
Evening News
reported, "U.S. researchers reported the war has directly or
indirectly caused
the deaths of about 100,000 Iraqi civilians." That's more than
six
times the
highest estimates made even by antiwar groups
like Human Rights Watch — and, as with the Rather-Mapes forged
documents, the assertion failed to stand up to independent Internet
analysis.
Moreover, as the Media Research Center notes, CBS didn't mention
that the author of the study — who said he "was opposed to the
war"
and remains
so — admitted to the Associated Press that he'd released the
story "under the
condition that it came out before the election."
In other words, what CBS billed as a scientific study was in fact
yet another politically timed hatchet job from a blatantly partisan
source.
And so it goes. Bush may or may not win tomorrow. But both CBS News
and The New
York Times come out of this election with their
self-proclaimed "reputation for fairness" thoroughly in
tatters."

On September 18th, 2001 the first of the anthrax letters was mailed.
There are
those who speculate that the real target of the anthrax attacks was
Dan Rather,
who was perhaps a "man who knew too much", about too many
things
from the
Kennedy assassination in 1963 to Saddam Hussein, to Afghanistan, and

knows what else. Did Saddam Hussein see a tape of Dan Rather's
seeming nervous breakdown about 9/11 on September 17th, 2001 on

American investigators probing anthrax outbreaks in Florida and New
York believe they have all the hallmarks of a terrorist attack - and
have named Iraq as prime suspect as the source of the deadly
spores.Their inquiries are adding to what US hawks say is a growing
mass of evidence that Saddam Hussein was involved *** with the 11
September hijackers....Leading US intelligence
sources, involved with both the CIA and the Defence Department, told
The Observer that the `giveaway' which suggests a state sponsor for
the anthrax cases is that the victims in Florida were afflicted with
the airborne form of the disease. `Making anthrax, on its own, isn't
so difficult,' one senior US intelligence source said. `But it only
begins to become effective as a biological weapon if they can be made
the right size to breathe in. If you can't get airborne infectivity,
you can't use it as a weapon. That is extremely difficult. There is
very little leeway. Most spores are either too big to be suspended in
air, or too small to lodge on the lining of the lungs.' As claims
about an Iraqi link grew, senior health officials in Britain revealed
they warned all the country's GPs last week to be vigilant about the
disease. `I think we have to be prepared to think the unthinkable,'
said the Government's Chief Medical Officer, Dr Liam Donaldson. The
Department of Health confirmed the Government is conducting an urgent
review of Britain's ability to cope with chemical or biological
attacks. It also emerged last night that three people who worked in
the Florida buildings at the centre of anthrax scares are now in the
UK and undergoing tests for the disease. ***In liquid form, anthrax
is
useless - droplets would fall to the ground, rather than staying
suspended in the air to be breathed by victims. Making powder needs
repeated washings in huge centrifuges, followed by intensive drying,
which requires sealed environments. The technology would cost
millions. US intelligence believes Iraq has the technology and
supplies of anthrax suitable for terrorist use. `They aren't making
this stuff in caves in Afghanistan,' the CIA source said. `This is
prima facie evidence of the involvement of a state intelligence
agency. Maybe Iran has the capability. But it doesn't look likely
politically. That leaves Iraq.' Scientists investigating the attacks
say the bacteria used is similar to the `Ames strain' of anthrax
originally cultivated at Iowa State University in the 1950s and later
given to labs throughout the world, including Iraq. According to
sources in the Bush administration, investigators are talking to
Egyptian authorities who say members of the al-Qaida network,
detained
and interrogated in Cairo, had obtained phials of anthrax in the
Czech
Republic. Last autumn Mohamed Atta is said by US intelligence
officials to have met in Prague an agent from Iraqi intelligence
called Ahmed Samir al-Ahani, a former consul later expelled by the
Czechs for activities not compatible with his diplomatic mission.The
Czechs are also examining the possibility that Atta met a former
director of Saddam's external secret services, Farouk Hijazi, at a
second meeting in the spring. Hijazi is known to have met Bin Laden.

Who is Dan Rather?
"With the Zapruder film, came the frame by frame voice account of
the assassination. It was the voice of an obscure KRLD-TV Dallas
news reporter as the only journalist allowed to view the Zapruder
film and report on it to the public. The voice was that of Dan
Rather, and his frame by frame account of the head shot was that

the bullet clearly entered the back of the President's head as then
the President's head lurched FORWARD with considerable force".

account was precisely the opposite of what the film clearly showed,
and Dan Rather was lying to the public and the government was
sanctioning this!! We all three agreed that fall evening in 1971,

"Dan Rather was spawned Halloween day, 1931, in Wharton, Texas.
He
was the CBS news reporter covering the Kennedy visit to Dallas on
November 22, 1963. At the time, Rather was widely praised for his
coverage of the assassination. However, over the years, as elements
of the truth have been discovered, Rather's reporting has been
revealed to be less than truthful. Consider this: Rather was the
only newsman present at a private screening of the Zapruder film the
day after the assassination. He described what was in the film over
nationwide radio and was fairly accurate until he described the
fatal head shot. Rather stated Kennedy's head "went forward with
considerable violence," the exact opposite of what is in the
film.
Several months later, Rather was promoted to White House
correspondent for CBS and by the 1980s, he was chief news anchorman.
Now, since the film was immediately bought from Abraham Zapruder by
Time-Life, and withheld from public viewing until 1975, that means
for over a full decade, Rather's bogus account of the fatal head
shot was taken as the gospel truth.

Another questionable statement by Rather involves his location at
the time of the assassination. In his book, "The Camera Never
Blinks," Rather wrote how he was waiting to pick up news film
from
CBS cameramen in the Presidential motorcade. He wrote he was
standing on the west side of the Triple Underpass and missed
witnessing the assassination by only a few yards. However, recently
discovered film footage of the west side of the underpass has now
become public. This film plus still photographs show the Kennedy
limousine speeding through the underpass and on to Stemmons Freeway--
but no sign of Dan Rather.

Why did Rather lie about the fatal head shot? Why did Rather lie

Dan Rather gained national recognition for his reports from
Afghanistan during the Soviet invasion of 1980During the Soviet
Invasion of Afghanistan, Dan Rather was filmed wearing a traditional
Mujahadeen headress and garments while reporting from near the front
lines. These reports were some of the first by Rather which helped
him gain national prominence.

Later on during the 1980s, Rather gained further renown to some for
his forceful and skeptical reporting on the Iran-Contra Affair that
eventually led to an on-air confrontation he had with then vice-
president George H. W. Bush.

This incident was widely believed to have been a notable event in
Bush's campaign to win the presidency in the 1988 election. It also
marked the beginning of Rather's ratings decline, a slump from which
he has never recovered. Bush never forgave him and refused to grant
Rather an interview after their initial tangle. His son George W.
Bush has apparently followed suit, and has thus far declined to
grant Rather an interview during his presidency.

Shortly after the Gulf War began, Dan Rather secured an interview
with Saddam Hussein which, among other things, captured the flavor

The Wall Within
On June 2, 1988, Dan Rather hosted the CBS News special, The Wall
Within. In the special, Dan Rather interviewed six individuals who
presented themselves as Vietnam veterans. All six men purported to
have witnessed horrible acts in Vietnam. Some said that they killed
civilians and others said that they saw friends die. Each man talked
about the effects that the war had upon their lives such as becoming
mentally depressed, becoming unemployed, using drugs, and becoming
homeless. Upon further scrutiny of the claims made by the six men it
was discovered that only one of the six men was actually in Vietnam.
He claimed to have been a 16 year-old Navy SEAL but was actually an
equipment repairman. While researching for his book Stolen Valor:
How the Vietnam Generation Was Robbed of its Heroes and its History
(ISBN 096670360X), B. G. Burkett claims that he easily obtained the
service records of all six men which records where each man was
stationed during the Vietnam War. Since the program's airing in
1988, neither CBS nor Dan Rather have issued a retraction for the
content of the CBS News special.

Clinton
Some conservatives accused Rather of going easy on stories critical
of President Clinton. These critics gained further ammunition when
the The Washington Post revealed he had raised money for the
Democratic Party of Texas. The incident dogged Rather for weeks and
he was asked about it repeatedly by fellow journalists.

Investigations or had been convicted in federal courts of concealing
war crimes in order to gain illegal entry into the U.S. The Karl
Linnas Case In 1981 the Federal District Court in Westbury, NY
stripped 67-year-old Karl Linnas of his citizenship for having lied
to
immigration officials thirty years earlier about his Nazi past.
Linnas's crimes, the judge said, "were such as to offend the
decency
of any civilized society." From 1941-43 Linnas had commanded a
Nazi
concentration camp at Tartu, Estonia, where he directed and
personally
took part in the murder of thousands of men, women, and children who
were shot into anti-tank ditches. A 1986 federal appeals court upheld
his deportation order, ruling that the evidence against the defendant
was "overwhelming and largely uncontroverted." Summarily
rejecting
the
court's findings because evidence had been obtained from the Soviet
Union, Buchanan orchestrated a national media effort to exonerate
Linnas, demanding that his citizenship be reinstated. He championed
the Linnas cause in his syndicated newspaper column and TV program
"Crossfire," and arranged for then U.S. Attorney General
Edwin Meese
III to meet with him and members of Eastern European organizations
who
hailed Linnas as a hero. On March 31, l987, Menachem Rosensaft,
founder of the International Network of Children of Holocaust
Survivors, wrote a New York Times Op-Ed piece calling for a
congressional investigation to determine whether any American
official
or functionary had intervened on Mr. Linnas's behalf. Buchanan
responded by saying it was the Office of Special Investigations that
needed to be investigated. "Let us get it all out in the
open," he
wrote, "nothing un-American can live in the sunlight."
Attorney
General Meese delayed the deportation of Linnas as long as possible,
all the while searching for a haven. After sixteen countries had
refused, Panama agreed to accept Linnas "on humanitarian
grounds."
News of the decision prompted Rosensaft and others to intercede with
Panamanian officials in Washington, who told them that their
government had not been informed of Linnas's wartime atrocities.
Panama withdrew its offer and issued a statement saying that "our
country and our Government reject and condemn the crimes committed by
fascists." On April 20, 1987, the U.S. Supreme Court refused to
hear
a
final appeal. At that point Meese was legally bound to comply with
the
deportation order. Linnas was flown to the Soviet Union and three
months later died in a prison hospital while awaiting trial."

Two weeks before he was assassinated on April 4th, 1968 Dr. Martin
Luther
King,Jr. had endorsed the Presidential candidacy of Eugene,
(Gene),McCarthy, a
liberal Democratic Senator from Minnesota, who was seeking the 1968
Democratic
Presidential nomination on a platform opposed to the U.S. war in
IndoChina.

McCarthy was 7 points ahead of Republican Presidential contender
Richard M.
Nixon. Nixon would go on to win the Presidency in November of 1968
against
Lyndon Johnson's Vice President Hubert H. Humphrey. Humphrey
supported the
IndoChina War. Humphrey had been Johnson's 2nd choice to be his Vice
President.
Johnson had sought to emulate the 1960 formula which won for John F.
Kennedy, of
a Northern Catholic and a Texas Democrat. He first asked Gene
McCarthy
to his Texas ranch where he test McCarthy's willingness to do
something morally
repugnant to him. He asked McCarthy to participate in his "deer
hunt".
The so-called "hunt" consisted of shooting a deer tied to a
pole or
a tree.
McCarthy refused to "hunt" the deer, even though other
politicians
seeking to
win favor from then President Johnson had participated in
the "hunt". Needless
to say McCarthy did not get the job as (LBJ's),Lyndon Baines
Johnson's Vice
President. McCarthy would go on to write his poem entitled:
"Lyndon
Johnson's
Deer", to memorialize the event. Johnson then invited McCarthy's
fellow
Minnesota Senator, Hubert H. Humphrey to the ranch where Humphrey
dutifully took
the gun, shot the deer, and got the job as LBJ's Vice President.

The story of how Hubert H. Humphrey got the Presidential nomination
is somewhat
more complicated. It required a split in the left of the Democratic
Party to get
the otherwise leftist, but pro-war Humphrey nominated. Had Martin
Luther
King,Jr. NOT been assassinated the candidacy of Robert F. Kennedy
could never
have gotten off the ground. RFK claimed, wrongly, that he was the
candidate of
what were then known as "Black" Americans, and are now
known as
"African-Americans". A live Dr. King could have refuted that
incorrect claim,
having endorsed Gene McCarthy for President. So Dr. King had to be
murdered to
split the Democratic Party. Once Dr. King was assassinated Bobby
Kennedy (RFK)
could go on to wrongly claim that he was the representative
of "Black"
Americans. However Bobby Kennedy also needed to die to stop Gene
McCarthy from
being nominated. Teddy Kennedy was the Kennedy Senator from
Massachusetts,
so like Hillary Clinton, Bobby Kennedy (RFK) moved to New York State
and ran for
Senator and won. However Gene McCarthy's anti-war supporters in New
York State
would go on to produce a victory for McCarthy in the June 1968
Presidential
Primary. As the Democratic Senator from New York RFK would have to
have obeyed
the wishes of his consitutents and dropped out of the Presidential
race to
endorse Gene McCarthy. However RFK was murdered before
Gene McCarthy could beat him in that primary. RFK was murdered by
Sirhan
Sirhan,who we believe was working directly for arafat. He was
murdered on the
first anniversary of the Six Day War in June of 1968, two months
after Dr.King
was murdered. Beating a dead Bobby Kennedy later that month in New
York State
was no victory. Nor could a dead Bobby Kennedy go on to endorse Gene
McCarthy.
RFK was murdered just after he had won the California Democratic
Primary.
After his death RFK's delegates went every which way. A live Bobby
Kennedy could
have marshalled those delegates for Gene McCarthy.

execution of two American diplomats in 1973, a former U.S.
intelligence officer says. James Walsh said he knew of a tape
recording in which Arafat calmly discussed an attack on the Saudi
Arabian Embassy in Khartoum, Sudan. In February 1973 gunmen had burst
into the embassy and seized American Ambassador Cleo Noel and his
charge d'affaires, George Curtis Moore. The Black September terrorist
organization took responsibility for the assault and demanded the
release of Sirhan Sirhan, the imprisoned assassin of Robert F.
Kennedy, and other jailed Palestinians. Walsh, then a member of the
National Security Agency based in Cyprus, said his organization
intercepted a conversation between Arafat and Black September in
which
the PLO chairman ordered the killing of the Americans and a Belgian
diplomat. Walsh told the Israeli newspaper Haaretz that the
conversation was never disclosed by U.S. officials because it would
compromise American eavesdropping resources. Walsh said the NSA had
intercepted a series of phone calls between Arafat and the Black
September kidnappers. Officials in Jerusalem said the United States
had been informed of the conversation through another channel. They
said then-Prime Minister Golda Meir told then-President Richard Nixon
that Israel had also intercepted a conversation between Arafat and
kidnap leader Khalil al-Wazir, in which they discussed killing the

Cousin of Kennedy assassin Sirhan Sirhan suspected in kibbutz
massacre
"By Margot Dudkevitch Nov. 13, 2002 Security forces arrested a
number
of Palestinian terrorist suspects in Judea and Samaria on Tuesday as
a
manhunt continued for Tanzim terrorist Sirhan Sirhan, blamed for the
shooting attack in Kibbutz Metzer on Sunday night November 10th,
2002.
Security sources confirmed Wednesday that they suspect that Sirhan, a
resident of Tulkarm, carried out the attack and Palestinian reports
claimed that his uncle was among those arrested on Tuesday by
security
forces. The suspect is related to Sirhan B. Sirhan, the Jerusalemite
who assassinated US Senator Robert Kennedy in 1968. Kennedy was shot
dead in 1968 at Los Angeles' Ambassador Hotel by Sirhan Sirhan, a
25-year-old Palestinian immigrant who said he felt betrayed by
Kennedy's support for Israel in the Six-Day War of 1967. At the time,
Kennedy was a Democratic senator running for president. Israeli
security sources said they believe the gunman in the Kibbutz Metzer
attack is a cousin of the Kennedy assassin, and may have been named

Churchill, was named after his famous grandfather. The December 1st,
2000 issue
of The Wall Street Journal reported that Theresa Le Pore, designer
of the 2000
Palm Beach Florida Butterfly Ballot, which allegedly caused Gore
voters to
mistakenly cast votes for Pat Buchanan, had been a flight steward
aboard private
planes in the Iran-Contra Era of the 1980s, which were owned by one
of the
world's richest people: Saudi Arms Dealer Adnan Khashoggi.

Saroya was the alleged lover of Pamela Harriman's son Winston
Churchill.
