In case you haven't seen it... there's another cruise in the works. Here
is the info:

So, for the Easter Challenge, I am down 2 pounds and 1.25 inches. Not exactly a
lot of weight, but at least it's in the downward direction. :O)

I could just see you weighing yourself at the grocery store! How funny!
 
This is our last week of the challenge. There is one more weigh in on Easter
morning.
 
As for motivation, I found a copy of Dr. Atkin's New Diet Revolution for sale at
the library for 25 cents, so I am going to start re-reading it today to see if I
can get myself mentally back in the game. I'll let you know how it goes. :O)

I can't weigh b/c I am scale-less this week! Unless I weigh my self at the
supermarket but I hate to do that b/c I would rather way in my pjs in the AM
than fully dressed in a public place mid-afternoon! !!! Is this it? THis

week but I wouldn;t guess any lighter....

Congrats on getting that weight off! You're doing great!
 
I, on the other hand, gained weight over the weekend. I was up a few pounds. I
have managed to shed 2 of them, but still working on losing another 3 pounds to
get back down to where I was. I didn't weigh in this Monday. Didn't want to
know.... LOL! But I will weigh in next Monday. :O)

3.5 whihc I am happy about - been doing well and feel good. I need to lose

Hey Caralyn,
 
I'm glad you had fun with your family! I bet it was nice to spend time with
them. I bet it was pretty crazy though. And it seems family never wants to let
you eat lowcarb. But I know you can start anew and get back on the lowcarb
wagon.
 
This challenge goes through April 12. Four more weeks.
 
My MIL is doing well. She has been moved to a rehab facility so she can get some
good physical therapy before she goes home.

I had a bad week...I didnot weigh b/c I thought it might make it worse :(
Not that this is an excuse, but I have been really busy and my mom, grandma
and step dad have been here for the last few weeks and my schedule is way
off. I really need to be focused and organized to do well. I feel ill from
it all (visit is really fine and fun, though :) and today is a new day. I
CAN'T go on like this. Seems like once I make aplan to lose, I gain. My
goal is to lose to get back to where I was (I think 5 lbs is the most I
could have gained all together) and then re-evaluate.

I hope your MIL's surgery went well and she is recooperating nicely. Have a
good week!

PS When is this challenge over? I am not sure when Easter is....is it the
6th? 13th? That is when my girls are off from school so I thought one of

Thanks Caralyn. I had the thought of not weighing myself, but I thought I would
still be accountable and go ahead and do it and report whatever my weight
happened to be. I'm sure next Monday will be much better. I got back to TaeBo
this week, so that should help.
 
Glad to hear from you even though there was no change. Sounds like you are

I know there are several different diets represented on this list. I am an
Atkin's girl. Which way of life are you following?
 
As for tips, in the files section of this group, there is a lot of helpful
reading. I especially like the Brownbag Lunch Ideas.

Good job on your week too! I've also found some active boards at
lowcarbfriends.com. I've found a "Slimmer by Spring" challenge to join. There
are also boards for people in maintenance and a million other topics.
 
Our daughter is 18 months. She's a little toddler now and is cute, funny, and
smart! We still pinch ourselves because she's such an easy baby. My husband and
I have over 20 nieces and nephews. We've been surrounded by children our whole
lives, so we know what to compare her with. :O) We are very blessed. She fits in
with us amazingly!
 
At this point, we are putting the house search on hold. We've come to the
conclusion that really need to get some things paid off so we can live more
comfortably when we do buy a house.
 
Anyway... check out the boards on lowcarbfriends.com. They are really fun and
really active!

I have been subbing a lot and just started to feel scik with a sore throat
BUT I am still sugar-free. No weight loss this week but that is OK. My
priority is no sugar, then exercise5x a week, then weight loss. If I stick
to it then I think that will work.

Any closer to moving, Vanessa? How old is you adopted daughter?
