Hi Everyone, I'm Sharon, mostly a lurker, but this challenge thing got me
out of the closet and ready to participate. I have had a horrible time
trying to get back with my low-carb program, due to many reasons, stress,
physical health problems, and a hundred other reasons (excuses). I am ready
to begin fresh and make some new friends and cheerleaders to help me.
Thanks everyone for being here. I am all for a challenge from now until
Christmas - maybe I can get a new outfit for Christmas Eve Dinner!

Here are a couple more ideas for breakfast:
Protien shake
Flaxseed Hot Cereal
Omelet muffins (make a bunch ahead)
Breakfast casserole
Let me know if you would like the recipes to any of these. I like making the
casserole or muffins ahead, then just put them in the microwave in the
morning.
I'm glad you want to participate in a challenge. I'm open to suggestions.
Should we do weight, percentage lost, or measurments, or all of the above?
Maybe some of us could get a plan together and I'll send out a message on
Monday talking about our new challenge and see who wants to join. I'm
thinking we should run the challenge from next week through Christmas Eve.
Have weekly prizes and the grand prize at the end. What do you think?

Well, I also gained all of my weight back starting last January when I broke
my ankle, so I am actually restarting my diet today. What a coincidence. I
was just trying to figure out what I can eat for breakfast but it looks like
eggs are it, lol! Its been so long it doesn't come naturally anymore to
just know what to eat.
But I want to lose as much weight as I can before Halloween (for my costume)
then before Christmas (obvious reasons, lol).
I like the idea of a challenge, so I will put my weight out there now to get
it started. It is 198#. Will you be needing measurements or BMI or? Let

It's great that you have kept 15 pounds off. That is very positive! Usually,
when people gain the weight back, they put on everything they lost plus some
(like I did). So those 15 pounds are something you can take hold of as a
positive thing and run with it.
Is there something we can do as a group that would help with motivation? I'm
in need of some major motivation right now. I think we should come together
and make it happen.
What about a biggest loser competition with fun prizes and badges and things
each week?
