Hi everyone!
I have lost 30 pounds in the last 3 years (the last 10 came off this May due to
the end of a relationship), but I've managed to keep it off since then! I will
say that I haven't been that good with sugar, and find myself bingeing
occasionally. I'm not sure if mood swings trigger the craving, or eating sugar
makes the mood swings more erratic.
I'm still needing support in staying away from refined carbs! I can't believe
how miserable (headaches, bloating, depression) they make me feel, and why I
will lie to myself and say that eating this one piece of chocolate cake won't be
that bad for me! So although weight is not my priority, keeping sane and
healthy is. I've been reading so much about the bad health effects of processed
carbs and sugar - it's scary!
Has anyone been able to completely get off sugar?

Hi Vanessa,Well, I'm still low carbing. However maintenance can be as much work
as theoriginal diet....Dave320/158/160_____ From: lowcarblounge@yahoogroups.com

quite some time. I'd love to know how everyone is doing. Have you been staying
lowcarb? Have you fallen off the band wagon (like I have)? Are you trying to get
back to lowcarbing?Post a message and tell us how you are doing. Also, let me
know if you would be interested in resurrecting this group with fun
challenges.Thanks,Vanessa[Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
