I am brand new to this website but I have been doing low-carb for
several months. I have a recipe similar to yours but lower in carbs.
I have a personal blender. I don't really measure anything so the
measurements here are approximate. Get a small box of sugar-free
orange jello. Mix it with about 1/2 cup hot water. Set aside for a
moment. Put about 1/4 cup heavy cream in blender. Add 1 scoop low
carb vanilla protein powder (I get mine at Wal-mart really cheap).
Add ice to suit or put in 3 or 4 frozen unsweetened strawberries
instead (I buy these by the bag at Cosco but only use them
selectively). Also I have powdered greens that I will sometimes add a
scoop of, and sometimes I will put some benefiber in. Anyway, then
you add the jello and blend. Sometimes I have to add a little more
water because the combination of jello and cream overthickens. I hope
this helps. Also you can use any flavor of jello. Orange happens to
be my favorite but I have also used strawberry banana and cherry.
Anyways I hope this helps you keep it lower in carbs. Obviously just
using the jello, cream, and ice would be the lowest carb, but to kick
it up you can add some diet sprite to that!
