Actually, Margo, they taste pretty much just like regular pasta. I would buy
them once, give them a try, and have your hubby (and your brother) test their
blood sugar reaction to see if they are ok for them to eat.

Most of the diabetic folks on the LC lists that I am on have said they don't
have any negative reaction to it. For me, it makes me want to eat more. :(

One thing to remember about Dreamfields, is that you should eat it while it's
still al dente, otherwise it loses it's controlled carb effect.

The thing one needs to remember about pasta, is that on a low carb way of
eating, we need to think of pasta as a side dish, not the main dish that it used
to be for many of us. So now we have parmesan chicken or Italian sausage with
a side dish of spaghetti, or pork chops with linguini in alfredo sauce as a
side dish.

Small amounts of pasta apparently cause less problems than larger amounts.

So, if you do give Dreamfields a try, please let us know how it reacts with
for your hubby and your brother.

Happy Low Carb New Year!

Laura
