Bacon and cheese stuffed Jalepeno peppers   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #6510 of 7309 |
I had some jalepenos in the fridge i wanted to stuff with something, as i
always liked those jalepeno popper things. Here's what i came up with.
They were REALLY good! Because you remove the insde part of the pepper,
these really aren't spicy-hot either.

I only had a few peppers, as it was something i just wanted to try to see if
i'd like it, So this is a small batch. Easily made larger though. :)

4 jalepeno peppers
2 tbsp cream cheese
1/3 cup finely shredded mexican blend cheese
3 slices bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled

1. Cut the stems off the peppers and cut in half lengthwise.
2. remove the seeds and membrane from the inside.
3. Soften cream cheese if needed. In a small bowl, mix cheeses and crumbled
bacon together
4. Fill each pepper half with the cheese mix and place in a shallow
casserole dish or on a cookie sheet
5. Bake at 350 for about 15 minutes

~Sue~
