For websites, start with one of the diet websites, like www.atkins.com for
the atkins diet. Their site is very detailed in the plan. I'm nto sure
what the other plan's websites look like but there is South beach (more of a
good carbs plan), protien power, etc. I'd also recommend buying the book
for the plan you choose and read it well. It has all the info you need, but
if you want to get started asap Atkins website might be the place to go. I
don't have any kids, but i think just feeding them whole foods and cutting
out sugar and refined flours is a great way to do it rather than restricting
carbs. Use whole grain breads and cereals and no sugar really, 'cept for
special occasions.
